Location, big bar, good breakfast - plenty of choice
Self service check in wasn’t smooth, had to wait for the staff to manually sort for us. Others were also having issues
Wonderful hotel has it all, my daughters loved the swimming pool! Staff in the P&G all welcoming, Megan on reception was great so smiley and accommodating! Chatting away with my daughters, honestly such a pleasant experience!
Only negative the rooms are a bit outdated!
We used the pool and gym and that was a 10
Excellent value for money with ample parking, close to our event the next day
Corridor was quite noisy between 11pm to midnight , could hear doors slamming and people were not mindful of others
The restaurant app faulty so ordered at bar- but the app actually did pick up the order too - so ended up with 3 orders but this was picked up by restaurant staff and rectified and assured would be refunded. Also happened to other diners same night. On check out my bill was incorrect- charged double to leisure facility and only refunded for 1 out of the 3 incorrect meals - raised this at check out and assured it would be sorted- the leisure overcharge was refunded - still battling over the error in the restaurant. Not impressed with the customer service at the hotel or the response to my complaint. Was not explained at check in that the £25 meal package you can add to the room only covers food and does not include a drink with dinner
Lovely stay, friendly staff and clean hotel. Excellent self check in and out. Food was great. Check swim times for kids
Location and comfortable rooms
Rooms were very hot.
Breakfast was poor quality, luke warm and staff not very attentive.
I have stayed here before since when standards have dropped
Great hotel, room was awesome, bed comfortable.
Nothing, all was good.
Rooms needs some TLC, fresh paint, change pillows as lumpy.
Mattress topper on, was very comfy.
Shower heads need a good clean and mould removed from ceilings.
Was great deal to add on for only £5 for the room to use facilities, gum and pool area, with sauna and steam room, jaquzzi, and I did the cold plunge bath. So felt great after using them facilities. Cross over car ark to the waterfold, decent carvery and big lovely cakes. Also buffet breakfast availible for less than the village. We didn't have any breakfast at any as had to go early.
Bury village
Was welcoming
Great facilities
We stayed at the holiday inn express over the bank holiday weekend for two nights. It was our first time there and we were overall very pleased.
Particularly the bar area where we enjoyed meals and breakfast. It was quite hectic on the second morning compared to the first and you wonder if the way the breakfast is positioned all around the bar area works when it's super busy however the choice was plentiful and our son loved the waffles with Nutella!
All the staff working at the hotel are excellent. Very friendly and kind.
Lovely to use the pool and the family facilities are very good.
Would definitely stay again if in the area
Location is useful, but the prices are high if you only want a hotel, the feeling is very much that you are interlopers in a sports club. The bar is minimal, overpriced and minimal service, but the parking was good.
But now it seems as if they want to add parking charges!
