The hotel reserves the right to either charge or pre-authorize the provided credit cards up to the full reservation amount 72 hours prior to reservation arrival date. Non-valid credit cards will result in automatic cancellation of the reservation.
Guests must be 19 years or older to check into the hotel. Guests under the age of 19 must be accompanied by a parent or official guardian for the duration of their stay
Children 12 and under stay free in the parent’s room (up to 2 children). The 3rd adult charge will be $20.00 per night plus taxes using the existing bedding.
Extra beds can be requested using the Special Request box when booking. Extra beds cannot be accommodated in the Executive One-Bedroom Suite. Guests must confirm availability direct with the hotel after the reservation has been made.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

In April 2024 I made a reservation to stay at the Carmana Hotel for a few weeks while searching for more permanent accommodation. Nine hundred plus days later, I'm still here and felt it was time to post a review and share my experience. Prior to the Carmana, I have stayed in different hotels across the globe, including five-star hotels in London, Dublin, New York, Toronto and Vancouver, so I'm a seasoned traveller.
Since checking into the Carmana on Alberni Street, Vancouver in 2024, I have felt very much at home. The staff are welcoming, caring and kind, with old school manners and the customer service far surpasses other hotels. The Hotel is spotlessly clean, well-managed and well maintained. This likely is the reason so many guests return time and again. I also know of tenants who moved elsewhere and later returned to the Carmana. Security is a high priority and something long-stay guests greatly appreciate. While in the lobby occasionally, I've overheard visitors get agitated when not allowed access to a suite without a key or a guest's permission. Unfortunately, negative reviews have later been posted online. This, in my opinion, is unfair to staff, especially when names are mentioned and false accusations are made. Government buildings now post notices asking that staff be respected. On occasions when the alarm has been accidentally activated at ungodly hours, I've tried to stay calm and follow emergency instructions rather than trouble staff. A fire alarm is scary, but knowing the necessary personnel are never far away gives one peace of mind.
In summary, the Carmana Hotel is a very special place to call home. The location is excellent as is the customer service. Thank you all for your courtesy, patience and understanding, with a special word of 'Thanks' to the Front Desk staff, who take care of day-to-day concerns.

Lage top. Apartment sehr sauber , im 31. stock traumhafte Aussicht ! Sehr großes Parkhaus für große Autos bestens geeignet ! Personal sehr freundlich. Nespresso Maschine und Wasser wird täglich aufgefüllt

It was actually a huge apartment rather than a hotel room. Spotlessly clean, modern, equipped with everything needed. The downtown location is unbeatable, with sights, shops and restaurants right at your doorstep.
While the quality and space are excellent, its price is definitely very high, even by Vancouver standards.

The suite did not have a dresser. The kitchen utensils were old and not useful for even light cooking.

One elevator was not working, so just need a little extra patience.
