Nothing.
Breakfast was horrible. Eggs were green. Bacon was as thin as paper. Muffins were extremely old, dry. Light shade was rusty, room was outdated besides the modern looking beds. The tiles in the bathroom floor were loose and moving, grout was also loose and would poke your feet if you stepped in the wrong spot. TVs were outdated. Stated full kitchen..no it was not....it was a tiny mini fridge without a freezer and a microwave and a 4 cup coffee pot. Then it was the nasty pool. Looked like they never clean the pool area. It was extremely hot and humid in the pool area. Not enjoyable at all. It honestly smelled nasty in there. 3ft deep all the way around no deep end. I will never stay here again. I stayed at a country inn in Galveston and it was way nicer, cleaner, and friendlier staff and good breakfast. The guy at the front desk wasn't very professional when checking in. So I kept my interactions to a minimum with him and was still just as unprofessional when I checked out.
Overall the stay was OK. Near highways for quick travel to all locations. Breakfast was not extensive but adequate. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of gas stations nearby. Convenience stores like 7-11 and a range of restaurants and a mall were nearby. AC in room worked well. Parking was on site and convenient.
The area, staff, and guests were very ethnically diversified. Lamps in room did not have secure outlet connections but wall outlets were better. Cleanliness was adequate. Cleaning staff did not speak English. No closets in room.

There were roaches in the room. And the restroom sink would take forever to drain.
The shuttle to the airport was quick and the driver was great. On the return after our flight,, the shuttle was waiting for us.
The coffee was not made in the early morning. We had to take the shuttle at 5:00 am, the breakfast didn't start until 6:00 am. The lobby coffee should have been available 24 hours, or at least, starting at 3:00 am.

It was all fine
The breakfast was nice with variety of choices the kids took advantage of. We enjoyed the clean indoor pool. The rooms where nice size and cool during the Texas heat. Loved that it was so close to the airport also.
The only prob we had with the room was the cleaning needs to step up on the hidden detailing like in the desk chair where my toddler found an old pasta noodle from previous occupants and the tub seemed to have an oily film from what seemed to be use of baby oil previously.
