Cons:

The rooms were quite noisy. We were under another room and they were very easy to hear and when the shower was on next-door, it sounded like a freight train is coming through.

Last Minute Stay I Would Do Again
Pros:

I had to do a last minute stop in Corvallis and booked this hotel that afternoon. The booking process was seamless, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was very helpful and kind. I would hands-down stay here again in a heartbeat.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express On the Water in Corvallis from 12/3 to 12/5/2025, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is beautiful, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere made my stay genuinely enjoyable.

Breakfast was a standout — fresh, well-stocked, and delicious each morning. I appreciated the variety, and everything was clean and well managed.

The service throughout my stay was exceptional. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and attentive, which really elevated the experience.

The amenities were also impressive. From comfortable, clean rooms to convenient features throughout the hotel, everything contributed to a relaxing and stress-free stay.

I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely return on my next visit to Corvallis!

Liked the river view room but don’t enjoy being grifted with fees upon check in

Comfy, Cosy, Quiet, with a Neighborhood ambiance with Great Staff
Pros:

Comfy, Cosy, Quiet, with a river view. The spaces are bright and open. The real winner of the show is the breakfast. The hot breakfast is always super well-stocked with great food and maintained super well. Small touches, like a coffee machine that works 24/7 in the main lobby, with creamer and to-go cups is AMAZING! Additionally, thanks for having a 'to-go' option for breakfast for folks running out of the building to get to meetings at the university. It's a detail that, when it would be easier to cut costs and corners, really elevates a guests' experience of the hotel and makes it super convenient to 'get breakfast' without having to 'sit and eat'. Shout out to the front desk team and the catering team, the warm welcome and hot cookies were always a nice way to end the day!
