I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are around Empangeni
Pros:

The staff was extremely helpful and professional, the rooms were clean and fresh.

Cons:

I had to use the stairs to get to my room and I had bags.

Not worth the money spent!

Cons:

1. Walking in to be greeted by the disgusting sight of cigarette butts and crushed empty cigarette packs in the plant holders (no plants in them) at the very entrance to the reception was gross!
2. Followed by then walking in and the receptionist Sne lounging on a couch having a conversation with what looked like a colleague and only after I reached the reception desk did she stand up and greet me.
3. To be then checked in and discover there is a restricted water flow for the hot water in the bathroom sink, no second bath towel or second bottle of water yet the booking was for two people.
4. In the room to find that there is an interleading door that clearly will not offer degrees of privacy … ugh!
5. And finally, a bathroom glass panel that acts as a door allowing zero privacy and gaps where anyone else in the room can watch the gory bits and pieces going on, on the other side!

It was a very uncomfortable stay.
Pros:

The staff was great, the have good customer service culture, the restaurant itself did not look the part.

Cons:

The hotel is at a very bad location, literally a feel of down and non safety. The nearby pub/tarvenn is also not helping. What was very disturbing was the noise or shouting that came from one of the rooms to a point where I had to ask the staff to get the guest to lower their noise but the receptionist said has been trying to with no luck.
