The view of Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park is spectacular! The lodge is old and gorgeous! No frills but very comfy. The staff were so nice and helpful! Having horseback riding right there is ultra convenient. We will stay there again!
It was so great! I loved everything about this place and the stuff was amazing
The only downgrade was the lack of service over there and the WiFi was horrible I missed the time entry tickets sale to the national park because of that

If you’re looking for off the beaten path then this is for you. Pay attention when you drive in to locate the office( it’s around the back)

THE BEST view of Longs Peak, and Twin Sisters right on the other side. Historical lodge with trails all around it- there was even a humble breakfast in the lobby. Peaceful and so close to estes park. Recommend.
Need to improve their WiFi
When it said there was fridges and microwaves I thought it meant it would be in our room. That was disappointing.
Pros: Great property, balcony off the room, helpful and friendly staff
Cons: No A/C, no TV, extremely limited Wifi, deafening silence in the room. Everything was closed and we only saw one other couple.
It's a great place to stay if you're looking for complete silence and want to be cut off from the outside world. We won't stay there again.
Views
The property is old but has Character, I Didn't know the Lodge was Daoism, but it was very quiet and the staff was great. No active Kitchen, so we had to go down to Estes Park to eat. They did provide pastries in the morning. No TV, or Internet connection. There was Wifi if you wanted to phone out. If you don't have children that need to be entertained, then I would recommend it for a getaway for a weekend. There is Horseback Riding next door.
If you are looking for remote property, this is it! BEAUTIFUL lodge between mountain peaks. The staff were very friendly and genuinely interested in our trip, provided helpful recommendations!
