Extended Stay America Suites - Portland - Scarborough

We were told by night clerk they were fully booked. Did not want to accept our confirmation. Told us the fire alarm goes off in our room for no reason.

Very dirty, smelled of rotten food. Rugs in room dirty and sticky. Open dresser drawer and found used condoms and garage. Would Not Recommend!

Wish the breakfast had more options, the Coffee was hot and good.

The hotel and room were absolutely disgusting. I had booked a room online and paid the additional travelers insurance fee for three nights to be in the area while my wife was having surgery at a local hospital. When I arrived at the hotel around midnight the front lobby smelled absolutely disgusting of wet dog and marijuana. All common areas of the hotel smelled this way as well. When I got to my room the kitchenette sink drain had food waste in it. The bed was made but not as one would expect a hotel bed to be made with dingy looking sheets and a bed covering that looked as someone had recently been sleeping in it and not changed out. There was a used and still wet shower cap on one of the nightstands and an empty key card case on the other. Upon going into the bathroom there was a towel strewn on the floor, moldy shower curtain and to top it all off bright yellow phlegm in the bathroom sink that looked as if it had been spit in there moments before I arrived. Due to my late arrival and no hotel staff onsite I had no choice but to stay one night. In addition to how disgusting this all was there were dogs barking, people arguing and folks running up and down the hallway all night. I checked out immediately the next morning only to be told by a woman at the front desk that there was nothing that could be done to reimburse me for the next two nights because I had reserved the room through Booking.com. I tried to file a claim through the travel insurance company that Booking.com offers but the claim was denied by them stating this type of circumstance was not covered. What a scam! The hotel is a public health hazard and should be avoided at all cost. I will never book a room at an Extended Stay America hotel or use Booking.com for any other purpose.

It is an extended stay facility with no extended stay amenities. No coffee pot. no breakfast. No cups, pots, plates in the suite.

No blankets just like sheets . Had to go ask fir blankets .

Dirty rundown disgusting

Aucunement vue que cet hôtel accepte les animaux, avoir su je ne l'aurais pas réservé. Il y avait des poils partout dans notre chambre.

Unser Raum wurde nicht einmal gereinigt, speziell die Toilette. Den Abfall haben wir selbst in den dafür Raum gebracht. Das hotel war unter Renovierung. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht 😞 das Frühstück Bestand aus Kaffee und Snack was im Eingang stand. Wir werden dieses hotel nicht mehr buchen. Wir haben auch keinen Nachlass erhalten. Der Teppichboden hatte Löcher wir waren sehr enttäuscht.
