The Beachview Inn Clearwater Beach

The ocean view rooms are absolutely perfect! If you are seeking value while also staying on the beach, The Beachview Inn is for you. The room and common areas were very clean and comfortable. Every staff member I interacted with was lovely and pleasant. The location is absolutely perfect. The beach, shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. The view is stunning. It may look humble from the outside against the backdrop of high end locations on the beach, but the Beachview has it where it counts, it's clean, peaceful and convenient, and you can't beat the rates. It was a huge value and we absolutely loved our stay. We were reluctant to leave and can't wait to come back.

Have stayed here multiple times! No frills, but staff are friendly, location is perfect for the beach and our favorite restaurants, and the rooms are clean.

View was nice, air-conditioning kept one room cold, the bedroom area had a fan. Dinning room area was not the best

Location was great being directly across the street from the beach. The elevator is very slow. Nice breakfast options. Our room had a bizarre stale odor (from being closed up possibly) yet it was clean. our balcony sliding door didn't lock. I would rate it a little high priced, overall it suited our needs.

The beach view was amazing but the room could use some updating. The door needed a better seal and there was loud music across the street until midnight. The elevator was very slow or did not work well. Close to shopping and restaurants was a plus.

Rooms were aged but kept clean

The elevator did not work and we were on the 5th floor. There were no other accomodations offered. Not even waiving the resort fee. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom were falling out. The pool was emptied one day so you could not use it. Was not very impressed and would not stay here again.

Very old with little obvious upkeep. The A/C was almost useless. No room cleaning unless you request it 24 hours ahead. The bed was marginal. Just no obvious effort to improve the place.
But the view was great.... if you plan on sitting in your room.

Always enjoy our stay at the Beachview. Everyone treats us well.

Quite and nice

The front desk staff needs to be educated. I made the reservation under my shortened name and she questioned if the reservation was really mine. Example: Room reserved for Bill and the ID says William, I mean come on give me a break!

Also the day prior to arrival it was noted the elevator was out of service (and had been) which was not noted in the description nor was it stated at the reservation time. There were not any other options available in the area making it very difficult and awkward. I would not recommend staying here and will not either...

Nice and quiet

Had a great stay! So convenient to all the restaurants and bars and shopping. The beach is literally across the street and the sunsets from our balcony were unbelievable! Would definitely stay again next time in Clearwater Beach!

What a dump! For what I paid it should be a lot nicer. It was very inconvenient to get to the beach, the place hasn't been redone since the 80s! The elevator being out was totally painful as my room was on the forth floor. Continental breakfast??? That was a lousy excuse for breakfast. I won't return!

Elevator was broken.

No elevator. Had to pack everything up stairs. Booked 2 queen but reservations changed it to 2 double beds. However, the room with balcony worked great. Could sit on balcony and see the beach, boardwalk and pool.
