Beds very comfortable.
Ice machine broken on our floor. Bathroom floor and wall grout very dirty. Caulking on bath tub dirty and worn.
The hotel is in need of an overhaul. The common spaces were very dirty. The elevator moved so slowly I thought it just might stop. The mattress, while not uncomfortable, had two distinct indents from lots of use.
The room appeared clean, but I didn’t walk barefoot on the floor.
We were happy to leave in the morning and found our way to breakfast elsewhere.
The staff I encountered were very helpful and nice.

The character
The wet spot in the ceiling
The female bartender in the tavern was great and the food was good
Dated, HVAC in room didn’t work
Elevator by the back parking lot felt like it might break down at any moment.😬
Location and setting

A higher end hotel feel, a bit old school which is fine. Quality beds, rooms, bathroom etc. Very secure and private feeling and location as this is a conference center and the grounds are expansive and amazing.
Very slow and older elevators, since there are multiple buildings, the lobby and front desk are not in the guest room building we stayed in. These are not deal breakers at all.
It is a beautiful hotel.
AC in our room did not work. Bartender charged me $46 for a Smirnoff and tonic. A $7 drink. He could not figure out how to reverse the charge.
The price jumped from one day to the next.
The sink was clogged.
For the second time in 2 weeks, my favorite entree was unavailable. The shrimp & grits is one of the reasons we always try to stop there. I dont know if we’ll stay there next time.
