It was ok.
Pros:

The beds were super soft and comfy, water was hot for the shower, and the breakfast was pretty good. The night receptionist was very friendly.

Cons:

It was lacking in being updated. The bathtub paint was peeling, and hadn't looked like it had been deep cleaned in a long time. First room we had the toilet didn't flush.

The hotel gave us a place to sleep while in Olathe. It was serviceable.
Pros:

Location was clean. Property was maintained.

Cons:

One of the beds was very soft. Not good for bad backs. There was a lingering smell of smoke. I thought smoking was forbidden in all hotels🤷‍♀️

The beds had good support and the breakfast was decent

Cons:

When we first opened the door to our room we had to kill a giant cockroach scurrying across the floor. The bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen, there's only about 2.5 feet between the door and the bathtub with a toilet crammed in between them. If you are a larger person you will not be able to use the toilet. The door lock to our room was malfunctioning and the desk clerk had to disassemble the door lock to get us back inside our room.

Best bang for your buck
Pros:

Tracy, the desk person, was very accommodating for my early check in. All the staff I encountered were good. This hotel has a better breakfast spread than some Marriotts. The linens were surprisingly nice, too. For a cheaper hotel, this SureStay is a good option

An inexpensive and comfortable place to stay in Olathe.

How absolutely friendly the front desk staff were, from the moment we checked in, to the moment I handed in my keys and checked out.
