Hotel in process of renovation. We were given a room on a floor that had recently been redone. Furniture new, beds good, linens and towels good. Breakfast (included) offerings both hot and cold with eggs, sausage, soufflés and breads, cereals. Offered regular milk and also lactose free milk both chocolate and white which was a huge plus! Desk personnel very courteous and helpful.
Cons: due to construction only 1 out of 3 elevators available for guests. Stairs were difficult to find and a couple of times I tried to use them ended up outside instead in the lobby although there are stairs leading to the lobby they are just more difficult to find. In the bathroom the drain was stuck so water drained slowly in the sink and also could not plug the drain. Only found one hook for a towel and was outside of the bathroom and quite high up 5e wall.
Pros: in addition to the first paragraph the best thing about this hotel is the location. The wonderful WWII museum is just a short walk ( maybe 1/4 mile), many eating places nearby and the desk has a copy of places with approximate distances from the hotel and all are within walking distance. The cruise port is also just a short walk as is the river walk mall and convention center.
It was clean the room was really cozy and the location was perfect just a short distance from bourbon Street and canal Street
Everything was great nothing to dislike
The breakfast was nicely wrapped and convenient to take away, which I really appreciated.
The food was good, and the staff at the breakfast area were polite and kind.
The check-in process was confusing and took a long time, even though my stay had been prepaid. I’m concerned that I might be charged again later, even though my stay was already fully prepaid. The room was spacious but not very clean, and I found some hair on a towel.
Breakfast was amazing better than I expected it to be!
Nothing! Absolutely perfect!
Friendly staff and great breakfast!
No complaints.
Breakfast wasn't all that needed a little more options oatmeal but no grits everyone doesnt eat oatmeal, bagels but no regular bread no waffles every hotel that serve breakfast have waffles but other that that everything was great

The hotel is in very decent area. It has a lot of attractions in walking distance.
On a four day stay the room was never cleaned. Nothing was given fresh towels toilet paper. The woman working the front desk was less than helpful. And in fact condescending. Lastly when checking in was assigned room 220 on a floor that they were laying carpet..
Full of tripping hazards....feet sticking to glue as you walked to your room.
The breakfast could have been better.
Nice hotel in a convenient location. Front desk and breakfast staff were super nice and helpful. Unfortunately they were renovating the hotel during our stay and the inconveniences were not minor. Of the 3 elevators, only one worked (periodically) and we had to share it with the renovation team moving furniture, etc… There were large chunks of the day that the elevator was just completely unavailable. Having to take the steps to and from the 4th floor was a pain. More-so mid week, when they decided to paint said stairwell. Valet was pricey and there was a day or two where the front desk had to track them down for us.
I have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years and this is the worst experience I can remember. Hopefully it was just related to the management of the renovations because the staff was really nice and attentive.
The ladies Tie and Angel were great. They were friendly and kind and took care of any problems that I had. We could not get hot water for a while. The water was cold, but they did everything they could do to get us hot water. I couldn’t have asked for anyone else with those two great personality. Ladies job well done.
Valet parking was unavailable. Breakfast was closed to early. Poor room lighting. The hotel was under renovation but there was not notice to customers this was ongoing
From beginning to end, this stay was absolutely outstanding. Guests should note that this property offers mandatory valet service; however, in our experience, it was among the best valet services we have encountered. Both the hotel staff and valet team provided exceptional service throughout our stay.
Our room was enormous, impeccably clean, and offered a wonderful view that truly captured the culture and scenery of New Orleans. While the hotel is conveniently located near the Superdome, Smoothie King Center, convention center, and cruise ship ports, visitors should be aware that navigating the surrounding streets can be slightly confusing due to their layout.
The property features multiple elevators, making access to rooms efficient and hassle-free. The breakfast and common areas are spacious, with ample seating and multiple televisions for guest enjoyment. Breakfast offerings were plentiful, with a wide variety of options, and staff consistently ensured that items were well stocked. The beverage selection was equally impressive.
In addition to these amenities, the hotel also offers a pool and guest laundry services, which add to the overall convenience and comfort of the stay.
My only minor concern was that, despite staying in a two-bedroom suite, the sole bathroom was located within one of the bedrooms rather than in a shared common area. That said, this did not detract significantly from an otherwise exceptional experience.
I would absolutely stay here again in the near future. Congratulations to the entire team—you truly got everything right. I was very impressed.
The staff was quite rude, and also they charged us extra one night eventhough we prepaid everything. When we asked for refund the extra paid amount they didn’t do that and I still didn’t get my money back
