Friendly staff. Close Location to bourbon st.

Cons:

Sink was broken it held dirty water in it draining really slow . No closet or dresser. Hard to unpack.

The foyer smelled clean

Cons:

There were two rats running around on the floor downstairs in the foyer when we first made it to the hotel. The toilet would not flush and we had to call maintenance. The elevators did not work well at all.

Not worth the Marriott’s name
Pros:

Worst Marriott hotel I’ve been, bed was uncomfortable and breakfast menu was really limited
Attendant sometimes were rude, I stayed an another location and the experience was way better than this

Close to the action but far enough away to get some quiet time
Pros:

Just outside the French Quarter, we walked everywhere. Hotel was clean, they are going through renovations (May 2026) but everything was well appointed in our room. Good value for the location, and a bit quieter than three blocks away on Bourbon Street. Would stay here again on a trip to New Orleans if I didnt want to be in the midst of the party scene 24/7.
