Super 8 by Wyndham Plainview

Please be careful coming to this hotel it’s unsanitary the breakfast cereal with no milk it was very dirty and unsafe if you have children please don’t bring them to this hotel

The breakfast was limited to sugary cereal or oatmeal or english muffins. The coffee was good and they had real half & half cream. Staff was great and room was clean.

Did an online booking and not 1 but 2 rooms were taken after i went to the room and couldnt get in

Parking area had several people hanging out near vehicles smoking weed. Lights in the room didn’t work. Guy sitting beside our door in the hallway clearly high. Decided that was a big NOPE! Got back in the car drove 2 1/2 hours to a different town that had a room available at Holiday Inn Express.

We drove 7 hours to Plaiview for a baseball showcase for my son. We arrived a little after midnight and was told they do not have a room for us. The lady at the front desk gave us a room with 1 bed for 3 of us and a pull away bed. The bed was absolutely nasty with stains all over it. I have plenty of pictures. The whole place was nasty and dirty and smelt horrible. I want a refund!!!

The housekeeper was nocking my door at 9 am to asking me if I was going to leave the room.
Then 1 hour late she was nocking again to tell me that I have to leave the room at 11 am...
That was disturbing because the check out is at Noon....

Took 82,000 points after just canceling my reservation super 8 and Wyndham are wrong for that not like they gonna give them back so imma use my points and go to choice

The staff required a security deposit. But refused to give me a receipt for $100 deposit. Doors l99ked like they havebeen kicked in mutiple time with poor repairs.

Entrance was difficult to find. Staff are friendly. Building is dated. Room is fairly clean. Can’t get TV to work. Plenty of fast food options nearby. Right off the highway which makes it convenient.

Not amazing. I was first told the motel was sold out, then that my room they had saved, accessible, was given to someone else. After much consternation, I was given a room that actually turned out to be pretty. good. No lights in walkway inside courtyard, and a terrible pool that was empty and looked like it had been that way for some time. The desk clerk was very nice and did her best to correct a difficult situation. One out of four nights recently staying in hotels wasn't bad.

Front desk staff was very nice, rooms were fresh and very clean. It was comfortable, however the area around was questionable

Super 8's aren't consistent from one location to another. The room rate was good. The room was clean and had no issues other than there not being nearly enough outlets near the bed. Room was clean. There was plenty of hot water along with great water pressure. Public areas are dated and dingy. The breakfast offering was packaged items, weak coffee and really not worth coming down for. If you don't need a pool, or expect a good breakfast in the morning, and are there to just stacy one night, it's fine.
