Everything about the place was fantastic
There's nothing I didn't like
Nice size room at a great price and great restaurant.
Pillows could be more comfortable
Building is dated. After using this hotel Jan 14th 25th Feb 4th 14th 25th....we asked for a room rate on Feb 28th. Rate was more than expected and had to make other arrangements.
No $50 gift card seen as yet. Last 3 visits were to qualify us . ???
Handled fine at front desk and found people accomodating. Liked the Tavern attached also. Will use Best Western again.
Breakfast was good and glad to have it there during a snowstorm. The beds were comfortable. The room had a fridge and a microwave, which were both useful during the storm. Staff were pleasant. Appreciated having the fitness center.
We had minimal hot water, and it was unpredictable. My shower went cold after 30 seconds. Also, we tried to control the temperature of the room but it always stayed too warm for our comfort, especially at night.
If you are even slightly noise sensitive there is zero chance you could stay here without going insane. Their elevators are a nightmare. Ridiculously loud no matter where you are in the hotel. You could be on the very top floor, the lowest floor, in a room right next to the elevator or the room furthest away...it doesn't matter. It is basically like someone turning a lawn mower on and off every ten seconds. If it was a constant noise that would be actually be better. But nope, on off on off on off. I jammed wax ear plugs, that usually pretty much block out everything, as deep as I could into my ears and I could still hear that $#%@ing elevator! Any good qualities you can say about the place (budget friendly, free breakfast, nice sized heated pool, pretty decent gym and a few other things) all get thrown out of the window because of those elevators. The mgmt is clearly aware of the issue because there are many complaints about it. But apparently not worth it to them to address. Not like they would have to replace them altogether. Soundproof the shafts? Change motors? Bottom line, there are much better places to stay a few hundred yards away that are pretty close in price range.
Good location and a lot of facilities. The rooms were clean.
Room 410 is against the elevators. Anytime an elevator moved we would hear a loud mechanical noise. And the room was large and spacious, but set up super weird. And the TV was small for the space and far away from the bed and facing away from the couch.
