Pros:

Fantastic location, right in the heart of the Royal Mile.

Cons:

No elevator was a bit of an inconvenience. The thin pillows were extremely uncomfortable.

Pros:

Good Inn, great breakfast. Amazing location, minutes to most attractions. Room warm, comfortable and clean. Hair dryer and straightners in the room. Only downside 79 steps to the room, it does say stairs but not how many. Not ideal for people with health issues. Was able to leave bags at the start and end of our holiday.

Despite the no elevator and only use of stairs it was a great location and great accomodations
Pros:

Breakfast was wonderful- full Scottish Breakfast!

Cons:

Understand it’s a listed building and no elevator is in the building which we did not pick up on when booking. Heavy suitcases and 3+ floor climb was not a great start!!

Al maden var perfekt.
Beliggenheden kan ikke være bedre.
Tænk at bo øverst oppe i bygningen og så samtidig har du dit madsted og din pub i stueplan, hvor du kan hygge dig med lokale mennesker og personale.

Fantastic central location
Pros:

The room was bigger than expected with a very spacious bathroom and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy and absolutely huge! Staff were all excellent and very helpful.

Cons:

I had booked a room that was advertised as having a view....it did not!

The staff was incredible. The old building is beautiful.

Cons:

We were on the top floor in a small room with a king size bed. We could barely move around. The bathroom was awful in that it was more like a wet bath with just a single door to the entire bathroom including the shower. There wasn't a single shelf in the bathroom to manage your toiletries or clothes. Pillows were super uncomfortable.

Pros:

The staff were excellent they were especially caring after my wife's accident in our room. They could not be faulted, even looking after my wife while I was at reception phoning for an ambulance. While waiting for the ambulance the staff kept checking on us both visiting our room on numerous occasions.
