Pros:

The staff were excellent they were especially caring after my wife's accident in our room. They could not be faulted, even looking after my wife while I was at reception phoning for an ambulance. While waiting for the ambulance the staff kept checking on us both visiting our room on numerous occasions.

Nice, clean hotel on a beautiful old building in the heart of the Mile.
Pros:

Location and staff were great, you can see there has been an effort made to provide customers with all the little extras of a boutique hotel in the refurbishment. Breakfast was lovely too.

Cons:

No elevator is a bit challenging when you on the top floor, but not enough to stop us returning. Rooms are missing some basics like shelves/hooks in bathrooms.

Very good value for money for the location
Pros:

Location.
Bed was comfortable.
Ability to control the temperature.
Lovely shower.
Hair straighteners in room.

Cons:

Despite thinking of things like a hair straightener there was no shelf in the bathroom.
Didn’t like the toilet being in a separate room from the shower

Nous sommes restés une nuit et nous avons été satisfaits. Chambre confortable, salle de bain propre et moderne. L’ambiance est agréable et reposante. Parfait pour une escapade en couple.

Best meal in Edinburgh
Pros:

OMG, if we had come here the first night we’d have come every night.
I had steak pie and he had the £20 deal of Cullen Skunk and pan seared salmon.
The pub has music and ginormous tvs both of which I dislike in pubs, however, the food was outstanding, the ladies serving so nice and kind and value for money when on the royal mile? Stunning .
10/10!
