Pros:

View is stunning. Reception staff and cleaners were great. Disappointingly restaurant staff had only limited knowledge of customer service and lots of them didn't speak english.

A superb hotel!
Pros:

I travel frequently and stay at the best places. The Intercontinental Istanbul is one of the top 3 hotels I've stayed at in the last 10 years. Everyone is helpful, professional, and smiles when approached. The lobby, the garden outside, the rooftop bar and the restaurant have spectacular views and top notch food, drinks, and wine. I am coming back and bringing the rest of my family.

The location is good. Breakfast was good.

The infrastructure is old now and there was annoying noise from AC, which we complaint but they did not take action for 2 days and apologise on 3rd day.

The hotel is located in an excellent place where public transport is easy to use. Its a beautiful hotel and the only thing I didn’t like are outdated bathroom which are small and claustrophobic. Rooms size was good, breakfast was superb. Even as a vegetarian, had many choices.

Property is nice, good clwan pool area, the staff is super friendly especially Oĝur in rooftop restaurants. You can walk to some spots, cafes, pharmacy, convenient stores and ferry station, plus some tourists attractions. The rooms do need to be renovated, they are a bit on the drab side.
