STUDIO 6 IS THE SAME BUILDING AND OWNERS.
Burners didn't work in kitchenette, had holes in wall, exposed outlet box hanging from walls, maid cleaned room next door with mop I saw her rest in muddy courtyard (our feet turned black from being barefoot for 20 minutes while unloading our bags), front desk was a zoom kiosk staffed out of country, no in-person staff at desk, sheets had grease on them when we arrived, cleaning staff refused to assist with sheets, multiple roaches sighted, permanent residents heavily drinking all hours of the night, fridge and microwave didn't work in one room, AC was broken (you could not set temp in either room, so you had to manually switch it between Cool and Fan, and hope the compressor engaged when you turned it on), no chairs in room, several patched holes in walls with no paint, needed multiple new keys during stay, rented for adjoining rooms but there was no door to the room (they were just next to each other, which is not what "adjoining" means in US professional hospitality services), if more than one plug in any outlet was used it would not power anything, several outlets were not functional at all, every floor tile was cracked and dirty, maid services never changed trash or towels (on a 4 night stay), said it was close to food but it only had a gas station and taco truck in walking distance, at least 1/3 of the parking is their U-Haul side hustle, maid service smoking near open windows followed up by another yelling at a guest nearby our room for vaping outside instead of in the room.
There's more, but I'm tired of writing, and if this doesn't get you to choose a better place then nothing will.
It was cleaned well, but bleach can only do so much. The staff seemed nice and helpful to me.
Roaches. They had this weird pin system on the door that wasnt explained. They have you check in on this weird kiosk where someone is working remotely. The staff was all very friendly, but there was were just so many little dumb inconveniences.
Also, it bears repeating, ROACHES. Not so bad they scurry when you turn on the light, but we did see 1-2 a day
I picked this one for the price, so at least it didn't cost much. The staff was patient with my check-in, so that was good too. The bed was firm enough for me.
The a/c turned on once, and then never again so the room was a bit warm. The floor left my feet dirty, could have used another sweep. The room key was a complete pain.
This only pertains to rooms like mine that were close to the lobby... but the lobby echoes badly, I was awakened more than once by late night, loud conversations. So put the noise/heat together and I didn't sleep much.
But... at least my wallet wasn't emptied by the rate.
There were roaches, the sheets were incredibly thin, and the outlets barely worked.
There were roaches and bugs all over, there was no clean towels. Had to ask for 4 days about towels and never once got them until I threatened to call the department of health.
Yes there were no staff there everything was done by a machine. Only saw one cleaning girl for a few hours. They kept her in the lobby cleaning the lobby the whole time to try to make a good impression on the lobby but the rooms were terrible.
The Room was very good and clean.
No pressing iron.
Price location
That they didn’t have an iron to use.
2 beds
No physical staff, the deposit should be stated upfront as I only purchased because I thought the price was a deal. Fridge was warm
Looking from the outside I did not expect it to be as nice as what it was. The room was a very good size, the beds were super soft. So soft i wanted to stay forever!
The amount of linens given were inadequate. For the number of people staying there were not enough towels. I had 3 people and there were only two sets of towels. When I went to ask for more I was told that I would have to wait until the morning. This was unacceptable as I was only staying for one night. Then when I went in the morning I still was unavailable to get more towels.
I love how clean the room was and how quick they would help you if something was wrong.
The stove only uses certain pots and pans and I wish I would've been told that because I didn't have those type of pots
Location
Phantom phone calls.
The quietness and the privacy
The place was clean.
It had no amenities. The bathroom door was broke and wouldn't shut. The hot and cold were backwards in the shower. A lot of yelling throughout the hotel. A constant drip outside from the AC unit above.
