Anthem Hampton Inn is #1 for Staff
Pros:

A must do hotel in the Anthem area because of the staff! We have stayed here several times when in town visiting family. As with each prior stay, this one did not disappoint. While the facility itself could use a “refresh” the staff make up for anything lacking in the physical appearance of the hotel. Staying with Jim and Sommer at the front desk - both are amazing stewards of the hotel and should be kept at all costs! They try,y know what the words “customer service” mean. Next up is Pam who covers the breakfast area on Sunday and Monday mornings - she was hired back and should also be kept at all costs! She is personable, friendly, and truly strives to make customers happy. And finally we must mention Lindsay, who handled our housekeeping. She was such a pleasant and efficient person - she was friendly if we were in the room and went out of her way to give us whatever we needed for our extended stay. It is the STAFF here that keep us coming back time after time. Thank you for taking care of us and our extended family members on this visit which was under less than happy circumstances.

Disappointing for a Hampden Inn
Pros:

Location, comfortable bed.

Cons:

Bathroom dirty with mold. Numerous amenities were broken and not available, eg, hot tub, peloton bike, both treadmills.

Great hotel!
Pros:

My son and I had a really nice stay here. The staff was very friendly; Jim checked me out of my room and he was a hoot! The hotel is clean and the room was nice, definitely bigger than I expected. I had a good night's sleep, thanks to the comfy bed, and the breakfast was your hotel standard, but the employees were on it and kept it stocked with good stuff. The only problems I had were with the bathroom. The door was like the barn door style and there was no fan, but those things are not deal breakers and I will definitely stay here again.

The location was great, staff was very nice and ready to fix any problem we had (will explain in the next section). Overall great stay.

Cons:

Our door malfunctioned with our keys so we had to change rooms a day or 2 into our stay. The pullout couch in the new room had stains on the sheets. The ellipticals were out of service the entirety of our stay which made the already small workout room feel smaller.
