I loved the kitchen and the bathroom in the king room.
How far my room was from the front desk.
It was mostly clean and spacious. Comfortable pillows. Overall it was nice. We've been before, and we’ll be back again I'm sure.
It was pretty noisy. We could hear people laughing and yelling in the hallway and outside the bedroom window all night on our second night. There weren't any trash bags in the cans. Luckily, I brought one just in case. I was going to use a cup, but there were dishes put away dirty, so I just stuck with gas station bottled drinks.
Clean, well-stocked suite with a full kitchenette, great breakfast, and very pleasant staff—especially Sarah.
The front desk lacked initial acknowledgment at check-in, which affected the first impression.
It was clean and close to our event.
It was costly for 1 night and no pool.
Staff was very accommodating. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was one of the best that we have had in a hotel. It was an ideal location for us and on the south side of Springfield.
The weather, but I guess they cannot control everything.
The breakfast was disappointing. My husband loves chocolate milk so he picked up two cartons. One was sour and curdled. That kind of ended things for him.
The tv reception was very interrupted with imagges cutting through and lines the whole time. We just turned it off.
The shower doors would not shut properly. It was out of its tracks.
The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable.
Convenience
I travel extensively for work, this has to be the worst Residence Inn I’ve stayed at.
Right from check in, guy at the desk did not say hello, just came over and said yes? He asked what bought me in for this 2 night stay, I excitedly told him I was just 2 night short for reaching Gold status with Marriott Bonvoy and he didn’t even look up or acknowledge my response. Your bad day is not my issue sir.
The room is poorly designed, the kitchen layout is terrible, all pots and pans, plates and glassed shoved in one cupboard under the hob with wires dangling down.
Floor in kitchen is slanted, I was trying to do work on my computer at the desk but the chair kept rolling away.
Some of the USB plugs don’t work.
Coffee bar only had decaf coffee, sink in bathroom was not cleaned and big dark hairs everywhere.
Mentioned to front desk about lack of coffee in room but nothing resolved, nobody sent up.
Charge for parking when I don’t have a car and was never asked if I had one.
Disappointing overall stay this time unfortunately.
First time staying, we usually avoid these hotels cause they are older and run down. We were pleasantly surprised. Although it could us alittle touching up, we liked the space and it was clean. The people were super nice and very helpful. We would likely stay there again
A friendly staff greeted us as we entered the combination lobby/breakfast dining area. This area would provide a perfect setting for our breakfast the next morning. Our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit was spacious while a fireplace gave us the feeling of warmth. The kitchen was well supplied and comfortable beds made for a pleasant night’s sleep. Breakfast offered an array of options including eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, breads and pastries, cereals, fruit, and yogurt. Everything we sampled was delicious. The price was reasonable so this will be our go to hotel when in the area.
Nothing
Kicked us out for being local. With a home renovation requiring us to stay elsewhere, taking our reservation then leaving us out in the cold figuring out where to stay with a infant and teen late at night made me kinda hate this hotel
Good Morning -- I am taking the time to write this note to recognize Robert who worked the front desk. I checked in about 2 weeks ago. Robert greeted me with a smile and came across as sincere. I got to my room and I could not get the TV to work. He got it working but then I messed it up and so he came back and attempted to make it work again. We decided to move to a different room. From there it was all good. He also suggested the Mexican restaurant across the street. Thanks for the great service (I am an ambassador - so I have had a number of experiences).
The handicap room was very nice. The kitchenette would come in handy for someone stating several nights.
The bed was very hard and the floor in the bathroom was slick when wet.
