Had a nice waterview from the room which was nice. As far as the room, very small, no refrigerator no microwave, very small bathroom. It was smaller than my bedroom at home.
Parking is easy and convenient
Very interesting old facility
Clean room, nice view of the River. Love the history of the hotel and Marietta.
Nice area for walking around and enjoying time away with out the busyness
Older hotel with lots of character!
It is an old historical hotel. The carpet felt dirty. The easy chair in my room was wet. Too much furniture made the already small room feel even smaller.
Nice
Enjoyed the property and the Marietta area as first time visitors; also enjoyed the facilities dining and several venues in town for lunch/dinner.
The hotel could be so much more.
I understand it is an older hotel but there could be more done with the inside
The hotel was right in the water and had period decor. The bathroom was a lot smaller than I was expecting. There were many fun shops a walkable distance from the hotel. We parked at the hotel and walked all around Marietta. It was a fun experience.
This hotel had lots of character and charm. Located in a beautiful area and within walking distance of may attractions/ restaurants.
We were unable to check in at the scheduled time. Property is tired and in need of update.
Really cool, o
The location was wonderful and the building was beautiful, and right on the confluence of the two rivers!
Beautiful view of the river from the park adjacent to the hotel. Easy walk to the downtown area for for eats and entertainment
Enjoyed having the riverfront so close and explorable.
I understand this is a very old building, but it needs a deep clean and paint. We were in the annex built in 1939. There were big pieces of paint peeling off the walls. The corners and baseboards were filthy and needed painting. Mattress was spongy and uncomfortable. Bathroom smelled like urine, the caulk around the base of the toilet looked to be the culprit. There were bugs of some sort crawling around on the ceiling and wall, they were coming out of the ceiling fan. The room had a funky smell but we realized the second day we could open the window and get some fresh air. Our room faced the river and it was nice to watch the barges go past. Air conditioner wasn't too loud. Parking was across the street along the river, fairly convenient and free. The staff was friendly and the food in the gun room was good. They have free breakfast during the week, order off the menu which was very nice. Elevator is tiny and dirty. The way the hotel is laid out the rooms in the annex are a pretty long walk from the elevator. Water pressure in the shower was good.
We have been wanting to stay here for a while now and we are really happy that we did!
The hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed there with family and they were really happy with it also!
The staff are very helpful and very polite
