Very responsive staff, room service was great.
Stayed on a Saturday night, hoping I was far enough from any clubs/pubs. Unfortunately could hear a nearby venue blasting music until 2 AM which made sleeping difficult.

Comfortable room
The location is convenient and made it easy to get around Launceston.
Unfortunately, our stay didn’t meet expectations.
The biggest issue was the noise. The hotel is located on a busy main strip and was affected by constant traffic noise, including cars accelerating and hooning late into the night. On top of that, there was noise from nearby nightlife and a nightclub, making it very difficult to get a decent night’s sleep.
There is also major construction directly across the laneway from the hotel, which was not disclosed anywhere during the booking process. Had we known this beforehand, we may have chosen different accommodation. At the very least, the hotel should consider allocating guests to rooms away from the construction where possible rather than booking out the rooms directly opposite the site.
We also discovered that one of our windows had been left slightly open and was almost jammed in that position. We only realised this after our first day, which certainly didn’t help with the outside noise.
The room itself is showing its age. The bathroom feels tired and overdue for refurbishment, and the bed appeared to have a worn or broken base. It sagged noticeably and creaked loudly with even the slightest movement, making an already difficult night’s sleep even worse.
Other disappointments included:
* No spare blankets available in the room.
* No staff member asked how our stay was, either during our visit or at check-out.
The room was comfortable, and we loved the staff we met down at the tram bar
