Pros:

Nice hotel and perfect for the overnight connecting flghts etc. Nice restaurant and all the facilities. Wifi is terrible and when working (not often in my 16 hr stay) was very weak. Everything else was great though. You don't hear the planes at all either. I wasnt bothered if you vould hear them but very noticeably quiet

The best of the best!
Pros:

This hotel is exceptional in all aspects! Immaculately clean, perfectly located, wonderfully staffed and comfortable as any 5 star accommodation anywhere in the world that I’ve experienced. I couldn’t believe how quiet the rooms were given that it’s right near the airport. Simple walk over to the rental cars to get on your way. The perfect place to stay after a long flight in to Auckland!

2 adults and 1 teen flew in at midnight, grabbed our bags off the carousel, then basically walked across the road and into the hotel.
There were plenty of staff rostered on to check us in promptly.
The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable.
We didn’t use the amenities, and we didn’t include breakfast in our stay or use the dining options, so I can’t comment on that.
We left the hotel around 9am the next morning as this was a transit stay only.
Of course you can hear planes taking off and landing, but the room was surprisingly quiet for staying at an airport.
Would definitely recommend, although next time I would opt for 2 x queen sized beds if that’s an option, as we only had the standard room with 2 x doubles.

The information provided by the hotel for access during outside renovations could have been more specific as we missed the sign just past the first lifts due to crowds of people and took the first lift to the second floor. We then could not find the way in the car park area and finally made our way to the lift in the car rental area and to reception on the second floor. A sign above the lift button on the first lifts, advising to go past the car rental areas to access the hotel lift would reduce confusion.

Noisy and hard bed
Pros:

There is no sound proofing in the walls. You can hear conversations from the hallway and people running up and down as the door to the room have gaps all around which also let's in so much light. You can hear the next rooms toilet flushing and them using the blow dryer. The bed is hard and not comfortable and the pillows are feather down which gives no support. Very disappointed.

Pros:

Bar service was woeful. No acknowledgement and serving people out of order. Would have spent much more at the bar - spent zero. Then found a diabetic stick needle on the floor beside the bed. Told front desk staff about both incidents - "We're so sorry" only response. Won't be back.
