Tremendously pleased with the hospitality and courteous service of young staff.
Pros:

Lavish breakfast with lot of varieties of cuisines and exceptionally well managed by courteous staff. Chef promptly served our specific vegetarian jain meals.

Cons:

It gives an impression of heritage property with spacious lobby. A blend of modernity will give more contemporary feeling. Entrance to the lobby is on a side and people are diverted to that side by a courteous staff. It is better to use proper signage and make use of central door for entry which is now used for exit.

A mixed experience at an otherwise excellent hotel
Pros:

The facilities, breakfast, club lounge access, and overall service level were outstanding and met the high standards expected from Ritz-Carlton.

Overall, the hotel has many excellent qualities, but these details affected my experience and did not fully match the standards I associate with Ritz-Carlton.

Cons:

However, there were a few experiences that disappointed me during my stay.

First, I ordered room service and was surprised to find cartilage in almost every piece of chicken in my Caesar salad. I believe this is unacceptable for a luxury hotel, where food quality and attention to detail should be a priority.

Second, I had an uncomfortable experience when entering the hotel. A few guests in front of me were allowed to enter without going through the X-ray/security check, so I assumed the same applied to me. However, when I approached the entrance, the staff member blocked my way. When I asked if I could enter, she continued smiling but did not provide a clear explanation. After I pointed out that other guests had been allowed through, the response was simply “just no.”

The way the situation was handled felt dismissive and disrespectful. It left me feeling uncomfortable and wondering whether guests were being treated differently based on personal factors rather than consistent hotel procedures. I hope the hotel reviews this incident and provides clearer guidance to staff on how to communicate with guests.

A few smaller points: the mattress felt like it sagged slightly in the middle, and the TV was outdated and not a smart TV, which was surprising for a property of this level.

A great stay
Pros:

The room was very large with 2 double beds. There were lots of amenities in the room and the bathroom was absolutely amazing! We loved our stay here. The breakfast was also very good with lots of choice.

Pros:

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even though it’s an older hotel, it has been very well maintained and kept clean. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Cons:

A couple of the details we received were not correct at first, but they sorted everything out. The only issue we experienced was that there was construction on our side of the hotel, which woke me up every morning.
