This was an awful experience and I didn’t even stay in the hotel, that’s how bad it was.

The pool was unsafe, hot tub was broken, hard boiled eggs were all over the stairs.

Exceeded expectations and am looking forward to booking again!
Pros:

The quality of the offered breakfast was four star for the price! The pool was clean and right by the front lobby. Plenty of vending and easily accessable.

Cons:

The cable tv didn't have a great connection, so it was pretty much impossible to watch. Once reported to the front desk, the attendant scheduled a tech visit so the next occupant wouldn't have the same issue.

Once we got to the hotel, everything was great! Phone communication was not fun.
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet as well. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

Cons:

I did not like communicating with Wildwood Lodge by phone. Their AI assistance is terrible. I would prefer to speak to a human when I call! Breakfast was okay but nothing special.

Disappointing
Pros:

Surprised at all the high reviews, honestly. For the high price it was worn, run down and disappointing. Old worn furniture, completely broken sofa bed, bare walls, stained mattresses, and a musty smell. They don’t allow you to bring anyone to the pool that’s not staying there, which I saw nothing about on the website or booking email. We were also not informed the hot tub was broken or we would’ve have stayed elsewhere. You can feel vibrations from people walking in the hallway from the bed, and the door closing from the next room over shakes the whole room. There is a huge crack under the door which lets in a ton of hallway light. The fire pit was also broken. Breakfast was pretty good, and the ladies working it were great. Very overpriced, would not stay again or recommend to anyone.

Great value
Pros:

This is an amazing value. The rooms are large and well kept. The breakfast is great. The staff are very friendly and it is convenient to tons of restaurants. It will be our go to place whenever we pass that way.

Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, I felt safe as a solo traveler, and the breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Wish I could have logged into my Netflix account on the tv. Not a deal breaker but would be a nice option!

Dog barking right across the hall kept barking from 4-7AM.
Pros:

Ample parking this time. Decaf helped me get home.

Cons:

Their brekkie offerings used to be way better. This time there was nothing that i wanted to eat.

The carpeting should be replaced in the rooms bc theres only so many "pet accidents" that can be cleaned up between client stays. And just remember: a pets sense of smell is 100x greater than a human and a rooms sq footage is small enough to make the carpet replacement cost negligible over the years OR don't have any carpeting at all - just that click and lock prefab wood flooring.

Pretty good overall and close to a restaurant.
Pros:

The breakfast was good. Lots of choices for an included breakfast. The home made biscuits and gravy is something most other hotel don’t have as a breakfast choice.

Cons:

The room was a little rustic and old. I know that was the style but needed some updates.
