Great place to stay in Florence
Pros:

Great location. Just a few minutes walk to the train station and very close to the Piazza del Duomo, Mercato Centrale, many good restaurants and other tourist spots.

Rooms were small but clean and modern although the walls were a bit thin so we heard noise from our neighbors.

The staff was incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and very helpful in assisting us to get the most from our stay in Florence.

The included breakfast had fruit juices, a varieties of coffees and teas, pastries, eggs, meats and potatoes. The breakfast staff were also very kind and helpful.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

great hotel in excellent location
Pros:

I spent a week at this hotel. The location is on a busy street but it was close to the station and walking distance of all the main sights. My room was at the back and I didn't hear any traffic or street noise. My flight was delayed but there is 24-hour reception so checking in was easy. Everything was clean and I had fresh towels & housekeeping every day. The room was small with a rack for clothes and l could have done with a drawer instead, but there was a safe and a mini fridge. The shower was a bit of a tight squeeze and the hot water took a while to come through. Breakfast was the same every day buffet style and unlimited. The staff were really friendly and helpful and able to offer advice when needed. There was air conditioning in the room and Sky TV with programmes in English. I highly recommend this hotel although it's a pity there is no outdoor space when the weather is glorious but I would definitely stay again. 4.5 stars.

Highly recommend for location, value for money and amazing breakfast.

The location is fabulous, walking distance from train station and still very manageable with larger luggage
The staff are super lovely and accommodating.
Large bed and very clean bathrooms with great amenities.

Excellent Service
Pros:

Front desk assisted with very early morning logistics with valet and a big enough taxi to ensure we got on our early train one day and early flight the next. Breakfast was good. Rooms clean and comfortable. Location walking distance from many attractions. It's on a busy street and there are no grand halls or large lobby for space efficiency. Still enjoyed lobby for sharing wine or coffee with my group and people watched in serene setting.

Das Hotel verfügt über keinen Parkplatz, keine Möglichkeit einen PKW zu parken. Uns wurde dann angeboten, unseren PKW abzuholen und in einem Parkhaus zu parken. Kosten dafür 50 € je Nacht. Hat alles gut geklappt.

Perfect for my needs
Pros:

I wanted somewhere with easy access to the railway station and major attractions. This was an excellent location and surprisingly quiet. Room was clean and comfortable, although it took me a while to work out how to control the lights. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good, including the early morning breakfast box. There were plenty of gluten free options

Pros:

My family and I had such a wonderful stay at The Market Urban Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming. The location was perfect for getting around the city, and the rooms were comfortable and clean too, which my mom really loved!

What really stood out to us was the genuine hospitality. A special thank you to Kristel, who went out of her way to help us during our stay. She was kind, attentive, and made us feel truly cared for.

It really made our stay feel extra special, and we’ll surely stay here again the next time we’re in Florence.

Top-Notch Hospitality at the Front Desk
Pros:

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to the amazing service from the reception team, especially Kristel and John.

From the moment I arrived, they were both incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. Kristel made check-in smooth and easy, always with a warm smile and great attention to detail. John was equally helpful, going above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered and that I felt comfortable throughout my stay.

Their friendliness and willingness to help truly made a difference and gave the hotel a personal touch that you don’t always find. It’s clear they genuinely care about guests and take pride in their work.

I highly recommend this hotel, and I want to thank Kristel and John again for making my stay so pleasant!
