Being a Diamond member for a long time I would expect better treatment with room choices.
Pros:

Staff was great, did all they could to assist us during our stay. Would have been better if the housekeepers spoke English.

Cons:

I booked a special needs room on the ground floor for my ease of taking my dogs our and having to use a walker to do so. On arrival I was told the only room on the ground floor had already been reserved. I asked why then did they didn't notify me ahead of time that nothing was available? There was no reason given. We were placed on the second floor half way down the hall, no where an exit. I am dependent on my walker to get around and had there been some kind of problem at the motel I would have had to depend on someone to carry me out because you can only use the stairs during an emergency. When I spoke with the lady she said she was sorry, I told her I would go elsewhere and she told me that that was fine but I wouldn't receive a refund for the days I had booked. I had no choice but to stay there. There was no walkin shower in the room either, I was unable to properly bathe other than just washing up at the sink.

Pros:

Special shoutout to the employees here: I had a terrible experience with booking.com on this stay and the employees went out of their way to help me and make sure my stay went well. I'm so grateful for their extra work and support, I'm very grateful for them!

Have stayed at better maintained Best Western Hotels. In fact, I am a Best Western Member.
Pros:

Good !
Nice size room and decent variety of food.

Cons:

The light above the vanity did work, microwave didn’t work and the toilet was so low. Why do hotels install such low toilets ? Seems like it is many hotel chains all install them . Not a positive for taller and older travelers.

Pros:

Front desk clerk was amazing, he was always engaged with customers. He ensured customers needs were met and very attentive. He had a really good attitude with excellent customer service. I would definitely stay here again when in Vancouver 😊

Very nice facility!

Cons:

I have stayed here several times. The first time, the bed was very comfortable. But each time, subsequently, the bed was very very uncomfortable. Also, only one front desk person who has to close the front desk to do other things on the property for guests. Long wait time at the front desk because the one agent is out and about.
