Had the wonderful experience of staying at Ritz Doha for 1 week in December/January and it was sooo good.
We transit through Qatar airport a lot during our travels so this time we decided to go in for a few days, and we did not know what to expect as this was our first visit.
This stay exceeded any expectations we might have had and big part of it was this hotel.
The hotel is very grand, and we loved the fact the once you're out of your room you get to see the whole hotel from the inside because of the brilliant design of the hotel interior.
The staff were one of the most professional we experienced on our travels, and that was evident because during our stay it was very busy with Christmas and new year's, but there were never a wait more than few minutes.
Special mention to the teams at Lagoon breakfast restaurant and the beach because of how organised they were with the waiting lists and the service in general.
Room was on the smaller side particularly for storage but wasn't a big deal, we mainly loved the bed and the toiletries.
High tea at the lobby was an experience, we highly recommend it.
Spa facilities were top-notch and very clean.
The weakest point for this hotel is the outdoors pool, we did not manage to check it because it was always so busy but again I'm aware that most of the year this isn't a problem because of how hot it gets, and they have quite a large indoor pool too, beach was nice though.
Food and service were Ritz level.
Overall we had a memorable time in Doha, thank you, Ritz, for making it this good, we'd surely visit Doha again and Ritz in the future.
This is our 2nd time at the RC, Doha and it remains as excellent as our first trip.
We had two rooms including an exec suite. If you get the chance for a discounted upgrade - take it.
What stands this hotel out from the crowd is the team. Molka was an excellent manager, resolving a couple of issues we had with grace and professionalism.
It was nice to see Bruce again at the beach and he was as fantastic as ever.
We were also looked after well by Faisal in reception.
All the tennis stars were staying in the hotel when we were there which added a bit of extra glamour.
We will be back next February for sure

I have stayed more than 30 Ritz Carlton and Doha is definitely one of the best so far.
The hardware has some histories but the new decos and renos the room definitely revived it. Plus the top notch services that have been cultivated through out the year making it the perfect choice.
I totally enjoyed my stay and everything was so smooth with very mature and efficient process. There are always many staff in the lobby area and as long as you looked slightly hesitanting, someone will approach you nicely to offer their help.
The breakfast’s fruit choice was amazing too. Much better than some other hotels in this region charging a higher price.
Special thanks to Azuhan( I hope i spelled her name correctly) for the very impressive welcome amenities in my room! And for Phill’s services in the B-lounge. (I mentioned my experience to my friend who stayed here before and he also spoke highly of Phill)

Excellent service and amazing food!
All the food tasted great, and the service from the chef and the entire team was outstanding. The supervisor and waiters on the floor were very friendly and attentive.
Special thanks to Yani for the smooth reservation process, and to Samuel , Linda, and Adis for making our brunch exceptional—especially with kids. The environment was very family-friendly and welcoming. And pizza class for kids was wonderful.
A big appreciation to the manager, Mr. Eric, who made sure we were well taken care of on a very personal level. It was truly a great experience.

St. Regis Lagoon restaurant
It was a fantastic experience. Linda Adis and Samuel, Adis was very gracious and made are day and lunch beautiful.
We recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Doha to celebrate a milestone birthday with a large group, and the experience exceeded every expectation. The hotel felt warm, personal, and incredibly well managed, even with so many of us.
The food was a major highlight. Chef Paul was exceptional. Guests are still talking about the puff puff, the fish, ata dindin, jollof rice, chicken, the BBQ, and the Club Lounge offerings. The hospitality was amazingly beautiful!
The themed experiences, along with the chocolate fountain, shawarma station, afternoon tea, spa, and thoughtful personal touches made the celebration even more special.
What truly stood out was the service. Kawtar was outstanding. Patient, kind, incredibly accommodating, and she somehow knew guests by name. Wafae took wonderful care of my daughter, Roshni made the room arrangements seamless, and the entire team made us feel genuinely celebrated.
We left with full hearts and are already looking for reasons to return. Choosing this hotel was one of the best decisions I made. I can’t wait to go back! That’s how much we loved our stay
Arrival
The lobby is very well presented, with ample staff to greet you and complete check in etc, the huge chandelier and open atrium right up to the ceiling is certainly impressive.
Room
We travelled with our infant for the first time, the room was clean and decorated for our arrival with some welcome treats from the kitchen. The bed was lovely, modern amenities, we booked the standard room which had plenty of space. There were a few drawbacks, no his and her sinks, probably to be expected given the age of the hotel but a miss here with the recent renovations, the same with the exceptionally small bath. The last and most disappointing feature of the room was the balcony, very small and basic, furnished with one chair, really not what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel.
Facilities
Pool was fine, but a bit odd with the choice of artificial boulders, the kids section funnily enough attracted the most sun, so all the sun worshippers went there. The service was great though, sun beds made up and whatever you needed was provided. Gym, sauna and steam room all top tier, modern equipment, water and towels etc all provided.
Restaurants
We stuck to the buffet with the little one and being half board, there was plenty of great food, and grill to order, prawns, lobster, steaks, chops etc quality was pretty good! There is also a seafood night once a week, carabineros were served along with oysters and king crab which was impressive. Although the king crab was a bit of a letdown lacking flavour and being watery, but the prawns were good. Half board package included soft drinks which was a nice touch, with the option to upgrade to alcoholic drinks each evening.
Overall
A great hotel, the service was immaculate, food was good, and decent facilities, though the beach was very underwhelming and pool was okay, a few areas for improvement, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food exceeded our expectations, breakfast was also fantastic, gym top notch with sauna and steam room. One last point, the hotel should improve baby changing facilities, in that there aren't any!
Stayed for a week in January. The weather was around 21 - 23 degrees so not too hot. Needed a cardigan in the evenings. It was fairly easy to get to attractions using an uber. The hotel itself was good. They provided buggies to get to the private beach. It was very clean but the best was the great customer service from all the staff. They were absolutely wonderful and couldn't do enough. The food was catered more for meat eaters so as vegetarians you do miss out. Having said that, the restaurant staff and chef's looked after us very well and catered for our needs.
Good Spa.
All the staff were exceptionally welcoming, I can't remember all the names so would like to say a huge thank you to all that made our holiday very pleasant. Special thank you to Jeet, Eric, Dira, Dila and security staff at the front door.
Absolutely wonderful stay in this hotel from start to finish! My room on the 21st floor was comfortable with a view over Gewan Island to the city & was serviced impeccably every day by the housekeeping team. The team in the Club Lounge looked after me so well for the entire time - as an older woman travelling solo, it was a great place to retire to at any time of the day or evening. Top marks to Molka, Alex, Oussama, Clinton & the others for their professional & friendly service. As I also have some mobility issues, the beautiful grounds were perfect for me to use during the day, and can I just mention the guys both back & front who were always there to take me anywhere in one of the buggies, even to the Lagoona Mall! The quality of the food everywhere was excellent - apart from the lounge, I ate in Sel & Miel, STK and had afternoon tear in the lobby lounge. Every member of staff that I met was so helpful.
This hotel has been a real find for me (I've been visiting Doha for 10 years) & I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
We came from outside to check on breakfast. I think price 140 per person for variety which restaurant Lagoon is offering is a good price. We found all we wanted. Great eggs Benedict and station with fresh juices. My husband loved huge cup for his cappuccino ))) thank you to Our waiter Khashini (maybe wrong spelling sorry) but he was so friendly to us! Thanks a lot

From the moment we arrived every member of staff was friendly and courteous. Exceptionally clean everywhere. A wonderful display of quality food every day to choose from.

Excellent customer service
We booked for a wedding. The rooms were in different floors despite 3 months booking prior to the event. The rooms are old looking and the cleanliness was not as we expected. Also at the time for check out they were banging on the doors to rush us and then the bags were not brought down for more than one hour. The management need to be changed

The food is excellent especially the breakfast.
The rooms are kept so clean and tidy. The hotel manages to balance different cultures sympathetic and there is something for everyone .
The spa and gym are the best I’ve ever seen at any hotel.
The only negative point I have is the price of drinks. £10 for a small bottle of run of the mill beer is a touch outrageous.
It’s no wonder the flamingo bar is the quietest place in the hotel. - reduction in prices would prove profitable.
However all in all the hotel and staff are excellent
Amazing spa and the lady called Fanny is so caring and nice , she made me the best tea with ginger to make feel better. I will definitely come back
We had a wonderful stay at the Ritz Carlton Doha at the conclusion of our cruise. Our room was beautiful… our room attendant was Hridoy who made us feel extremely welcome and our room was immaculately clean and always well stocked with towels etc Hridoy is a credit to this hotel. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool and beach and the staff were attentive and helpful … if we return to Doha we will stay at this hotel… it’s perfect
Fabulous hotel! Highly recommend. Beautiful room, huge fitness centers, friendly staff and great food options. Only negative is that there is no local places to walk around at night.
We had a lovely time at this fabulous hotel. The whole place was very welcoming, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
We would like to especially thank Malika and her team in the Club Lounge, they are all so professional and pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. It was clear to see that they all work together as a professional and happy team. The atmosphere in the lounge was luxurious and elegant, a marvellous selection of food and beverages, a great place for relaxing in a wonderful environment.
Our hotel room was kept fresh and clean daily by Shadab and it was a pleasure to go back each day knowing it would look so presentable.
The pool and beach team were very friendly and helpful, special thanks to Emder who looked after us very well.

Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Very well maintained property with the only drawback being a somewhat remote location. The room and amenities were up to Ritz standards.
