Pet friendly

People were very nice and friendly. Only problem I had was with the tub plug and carpet getting feet dirty. Breakfast was very good and always had coffee ready anytime of day. Conveniently located by Jalapeños (which is amazing) and right by Wawa. Would stay again if need be.

The staff... I'm originally from the area, but have lived in Northern Virginia for the last 10 yrs. It was a breath of fresh air interacting with the polite & helpful employees that I encountered during my stay.

Rooms were clean with some dated items in the bathroom, but everything was functional. Staff were all really friendly.

There are only two EV chargers and they are Tesla so an adapter is needed for other types. We weren’t able to charge the first night there because they were both occupied on a busy holiday weekend.

Breakfast also ran out on 7/4 in the AM when we arrived at 9 am, and the juice machine was running water and out as well. Was not able to get a response from management on that complaint so I’ve had to escalate to Hyatt directly.

Recently remodeled hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. No complaints and the staff were great!

Friendly staff, easy check in. Comfortable bed. GREAT shower.

This hotel recently had a great remodel. The personnel are great, The location has whatever you need close by and it has a quiet demeaner.

POSITIVES: Staff very nice! Great TVs in room. Clean rooms, nice towels and linens, ok beds. NEGATIVES: Rooms carpeted. TERRIBLE breakfast with few items, stale bagels, and breads, and one processed hot item. Food items are allowed to run out and not refilled, resulting in guests looking for breakfast with very few items left available. Guests hungry. Cheap Hyatt franchisee owner doesn’t want to pay for offering guests a decent breakfast. NO laundry bags in room. Front desk advised laundry bags are no longer provided in rooms due to “standard hotel policy”. (Interpretation: Hyatt franchisee owner doesn’t want to spend money purchasing them). In-room toiletries— one bar of soap on sink. No moisturizer. Bath gel, shampoo and conditioner are in large pump bottles attached to wall in short. Many low to mid end hotels are doing this, but it is UNSANITARY. Community toiletries containers in damp places that all guests have touched promotes bacterial growth.

Probably one of the only Hyatt properties I would not recommend. Though conveniently located for our family’s summer vacation trip to King’s Dominion that was only one of the few highlights associated with this stay. The bathrooms are small and the ants were bothersome. The staff however was pretty friendly and helpful. Not sure what the “Select” was indicative of but nothing select about the property
