Having to pay for umbrella and chairs when the hotel next door has them for free
Clean and modern hotel, 612 was my room with fantastic views.
Beach is amazing, the sand is like nothing I have ever felt, it squeaks when you walk and is not hot at all.
Loved every minute of this trip. Visited the Gulfquarium , super close drive or short walk on the beach to it.
Rockin Tacos has a great patio with beach views, very fun place. This whole area is a gem and once that bridge is opened, the traffic issue will go away.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The views were amazing. The sound of the gulf from the balcony is unforgettable. The restaurant was good. It was easy to get to FWB or Destin from the hotel. The Gulfarium is just around the corner. I highly recommend. Would stay there again.

Your ad was misleading. It showed a balcony but that is not what we got. We thought for the money a motel with a view would be worth it

The paper coffee cups in room were not microwaveable…the WiFi was awful… had to pay to park…refrigerator in room TINY and the luggage carts need to be replaced with something that is more manageable

being told i only had 1 day not sure how booking messed that up but i know i choose friday and Saturday leave sunday
This is my fourth year staying here with my sisters. This hotel and the staff do not disappoint. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Food at the restaurant is great, and the bar is a welcoming spot to hang. Their signature cocktails are delicious. The pool area is a perfect size with plenty of chairs, and easy beach access. So many staff members are unforgettable for their kindness: Estelle, Jamie, Joel, just to name a few. The front desk folks are always kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
Mind you, I never write reviews, but here goes! On Jan. 12, 2026 my husband, sister and I stayed at Beal House and could not have had a better experience. The room and property were immaculate, and the pool was pristine. We had peaceful beautiful walks on the beach and the room and stay was well worth the price. Best of all, there was this great guy, named Austin, at the front desk. He was so very helpful and always made it look like he was happy to see your face! As we were leaving and chatting with Austin, the lovely manager stopped by and was just as sweet! (Sorry I can't remember her name.) Can't wait to return to Fort Walton and Beal House!
