A Pan Card is not acceptable). All international guests are required to present a valid passport and visa. For Indian guests, cash settlements of INR 25000 and above will require a pan card copy during check out.

When booking more than 5 rooms , the same will be considered as group booking and the Hotels Terms and Conditions for the group booking will apply.

Breakfast for children above the age of 5 years will be on additional charges. The same is not included in the room rate .

Very nice.
Pros:

We didn't have time to use the many facilities but the most important thing was that the hotel was able to arrange for a doctor to come and see my father who wasn't feeling well and the prescription medicine was supplied to us via the staff (i didn't have to go and look for it). To me, that was the most important thing about my time at the Taj.

Cons:

Nothing to object about.

Perfect stay - everything was great.
Pros:

Perfect stay. The facilities are fantastic, staff are so helpful and attentive, food is great, very clean and rooms are nice. Overall very happy and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Kolkata. Special shoutout to Ishika - such a nice lady and was always a pleasure seeing her in the mornings.

Joined the Taj loyalty program after our stay. That should say something :)
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. They had an extensive menu to cater to both western and Indian palates. Staff was extremely attentive wherever we went. Compliments to the housekeeping staff as well.

Cons:

It wasn't a big issue but our key card didn't function well all the time. The staff at the reception were very helpful and fixed this every time.

This was our first visit to Kolkata and what a wonderful experience it was!
