Pros:

Det var vores andet ophold på The Albatroz Hotel og det levede fuldt op til vores forventninger. Beliggenheden, hotellet, betjeningen (speciel Nuno :-)) og maden var helt i top. Personalet var altid opmærksomme, om det var morgenmaden, frokosten, aftensmaden eller vi blot var forbi til en drink. Vi ville gerne have takket specielt Nuno, men han var der desværre ikke den dag vi rejste.

Cons:

En meget lille ting, som dog på ingen måder ødelage vores ophold. I slutningen af vores ophold, lagde flere gæster håndklæder på stolene inden pool området var gjort klar om morgenen. Der skal måske holdes øje med, at gæsterne ikke lægger håndklæder på stolene og der går flere timer inden de vender tilbage.

Cons:

Some noise from late night revellers in Cascais could be heard in street facing rooms.

SUPERB - especially eating outside. Great menu and drinks and service everywhere
Pros:

The staff are superb - so well trained and personable. Nothing is too much trouble. Cleaners are so polite and engaging. Bar and dinner staff know their wine, food etc. Great concierge team too. Excellent. The staff make the hotel.

Cons:

Have a look in one or two places. Keep your high standards. Some wall paper opposite bar, bathroom a bit tired for 5 star?

Very good location with fantastic views of the sea!
Pros:

Fantastic location! Decent sized pool area, sunbeds always available. We had a deluxe room with sea view. Spacious room with large, comfortable bed. Well stocked minibar (at a cost), free bottle of water on arrival as well as some port wine.

Cons:

Slightly outdated standard in the room, water taps in the sink and shower old-fashioned (hot and cold separately), too small tap in the sink (hands can't fit).

Fantastic location, great staff, comfortable surroundings and facilities.
Pros:

Fantastic location in the heart of Cascais. Most comfortable bed ever! Super food and pool although the breakfast offering was just ordinary (freshly cooked eggs were not advertised so you have to ask!)

Cons:

Quality of the room cleaning wasn’t great (bath mat was left out on one of the days) and the Pool Waiter needs a training course in customer service. The other staff were brilliant. It was our first time in the hotel (been to Cascais many times) will be back next year

Et fantastisk hyggeligt og velbeliggende hotel med super service
Pros:

Fantastisk beliggenhed med hav og strand rundt om og alligevel midt i den meget hyggelige by.
Personalet var søde, hjælpsomme og fik en til at føle sig velkommen. Vi fejrede vores bryllupsdag - og hotellet overraskede os med bobler og jordbær på værelset. Flot!
Der var en dejlig ro på hotellet, som var skønt, når man vendte tilbage fra den søde og turistfyldte by omkring.

Cons:

Vi spiste middag een aften i restauranten, og det var ikke en stor oplevelse. Chef'en må være gået i stå rent udviklingsmæssigt for flere år siden - alle retter var 'dekoreret' med forskelligt skum i farver og uden smag. Meningen var nok, at det skulle se fint ud, men det smagte af ingenting. Enkelthed ville have klædt retterne.

Great venue, but the service and maintenance need an upgrade
Pros:

The location, in the heart of the city and close to the beach. The style & soul of the building that remains. The amazing view. Some of the staff members were really helpful & adorable.

Cons:

Inconsistent Service: While some staff members were adorable, others were rude and almost disrespectful.
Poor Maintenance: Though cleaning was done, the upkeep was lacking, with bathroom mold and sewage odors.
Disappointing Pool Service: The pool staff was unwelcoming, careless, and openly showed irritation toward guests.

excellent location: close to the center of Cascais, in town, close to the beach and the airport; boutique character of the hotel; privacy; view from the pool; breakfast on the terrasse

Cons:

First we had an attic room which was not appropriate to the price we paid for the category: there was no space for clothes and the smell in the toilet was awful - on our complaint, they offered us another room in the same category which was the opposite: large room with lots of space. We felt uneasy about how we were treated first. The client service was not always appropriate.
