everything was fine
location
The water pressure on 10th floor was so low that showering was quite a challenge
Rooms were tiny, requiring skill to avoid collisions when shared with a second person
Reception staff were wonderful. When I arrived early, they contacted the cleaning staff to prioritise my room so that I could check in early. Later, when returning from dinner, my internal security door lock was somehow engaged from the outside. The delightful young woman on the late shift worked valiantly to try different solutions to a problem noone had previously experienced and remained cheerful throughout.
Location is good, nice and central with 2 train stops nearby. Easy to get to/from airport. Clean. Quiet. A little cramped. Useful I could use a washer/dryer.
No view, as window was blocked out. Easy to miss entrance. I didn’t like that I had to leave key at reception.
Excellent service
Nothing
There was a lovely lovely man at reception with lovely hair he was AMAZING fabulous service
Great location with history. Friendly staff and professional reception team who made it easy to check in and out.
Rooms had heritage furniture but condition was deteriorating. Old furniture does need regular maintenance to keep it in good condition. This seemed to be lacking. Room cleaning required a deep clean for carpets in corners and under sliding door. No view from the room due to other buildings being close and windows unable to be opened and being opaque. An unfortunate effect of being an old building in a modern high rise city.
Location very good in the CBD
Small rooms, bathroom needs updating
Location was quite good. Walking distance to most tourist spots in Sydney CBD. Some staff at the reception were friendly. The cleaning of the rooms was done well.
The beds were extremely small for two adults, which was not communicated to me while booking, else I would have booked rooms with regular (bigger) beds. The size of the rooms was tiny. I would have also not booked the two rooms if I were told that they had no view. Only upon checking in were we informed that none of the rooms in the hotel had a view. The breakfast spread was extremely limited, with the cut-fruits and bread varieties not replaced on a timely basis. The entire breakfast service was handled by one person, which is probably why she appeared unfriendly. One one day though, the person (a male) offered us free eggs because we waited the previous day far too long for a table. That was a nice gesture.
The beds are super comfortable. We were in a family room that was spacious and quiet.
The ensuite is snug, but functional.
