Centuria Hotel Buenos Aires

Llegamos y nos dieron una habitación que no tenia sabanas y el baño estaba sucio,nos cambiaron de habitacion y dejo bastante q desear por el precio, tuve q reclamar toallas , el baño no estaba muy limpio
El desayuno muy basico y las Medialunas eran viejas

The staff were lovely and it’s a convenient location. However, the sheets, towels and carpet are all extremely stained making it feel very dirty.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the location was good. However, our room was run-down. The shower head fell off, and the towels had a stains on them. They replaced the towels for us when we requested that, but overall, the hotel experience did not match up with the images and descriptions provided.

Well we stay for 9 days. And to be honest at first I was impressed. But two ir three days went bye. They only give us one toilet paper. And towels there was one o or two. That we went to the front desk to ask them and told us that they did not have any at the time. We had to wait one day to get clean towels. But the cleaning lady everyday she went and clean our room.

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights from March 8th - March 13th, and what we really liked was the service and staff there. Everyone was super friendly to us and always ready to help. We had some issues with our luggage (unrelated to them) and they offered to let us use their phones to try and contact who we needed. What we did not like, was the hotel itself. The lift had this awful motion that made us feel sick every time it stopped; the aircon in our room was broken for the entire duration of our stay (which is not fun when you're in a hot south-american country); the wifi also stopped working halfway through our stay so we had no internet for the last 3 days which we really needed to be able to plan the next leg of our trip; and the general cleanliness of the room was quite disappointing-we had dead flies on the bathroom ceiling. Finally, the biggest issue was simply that our room (and the hotel quite frankly) does not look anything like the photos advertised on Expedia. The photos on Expedia are very heavily edited and carefully selected so as to not show you anything that might be wrong with the room. Other than that, the people were lovely and the breakfast was good.

Was a central location to alot of things to do and the staff was amazing

Una experiencia muy mala, la reserva fue hecha para 3 familias y una de las habitaciones estaba sobrevendida, luego de insistir nos dieron la habitación.
La habitación tenía muchísimo olor a humedad, el inodoro cargaba en 40min y el bidet perdía.
Solicitamos cochera, no había cochera disponible.
El hotel no tiene teléfono para contactarse, sólo por correo.
Mala comunicación entre los empleados de los turnos mañana y noche, nos decían cosas distintas, nunca el gerente de contactó con nosotros pese a haberse solicitado.
Un montón de situaciones que hicieron que la estadía no haya sido como esperábamos.

Great location.

DISGUSTING. Gym has a treadmill that looks like it is from 1920 and DOES NOT work. There are no speeds, so you take your best guess and then about 30 seconds into running, it abruptly STOPS. This happened repeatedly. There is a random set of dangerous stairs leaned over next to the treadmill and two other machines have gross tears throughout the entire seat. This is NOTHING like the pictures on hotels.com advertise. Overall, it was a gross stay and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Never using this platform again unless hotels.com handles this correctly. Cancelled my remaining stay.

Location and staff.

Hotel? No - HELL-tel! No air conditioning in our room. Given a fan instead, that exploded with an electric shock that nearly killed a member of our family. So hot we could hardly sleep. Wi-Fi did not work. Location was good , but Will NEVER stay there again!

Location is excellent!

This was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was dirty and old. The sheets, comforter, and curtains all had stains on them. There was hair in the bathroom and something stuck in the sink which looked dirty. The water has such a strong smell of chlorine that we couldn’t shower or even use it to brush our teeth. When offered another room, it was even worse and the hallway smelled like smoke. Never mind that the bathtub was cracked and the caulking was black and had clearly been bleached to clean. I don’t know how this hotel had such high ratings because it was disgusting and if it hadn’t been so late we’d have gone elsewhere. We could not wait to get out of this place.

No towels or hair dryer in the room. I had to go to the reception a couple of times to get the basics. Very simple breakfast. Dining area needs to pay attention to its cleanliness.
There are plenty of better hotels in the same price range in the area. Have a look before booking.
The only positive aspect was a beautiful art exhibit that was taking place at the hotel

Solicite una habitación con dos camas
Porque viajaba con mi sobrina, no solo que me dieron una matrimonial sino que noté cero voluntad de ayudarme, al llegar a la habitación separé yo las camas (eran dos camas unidas tip sommier) el tema que pedí sábanas y una frazada para la cama que acababa de separar y solo me llevaron una frazada por lo que tuve que usar una de las sábanas de la otra cama para no dormir sobre el colchón. Al día siguiente en mi segunda noche no solo que no lo corrigieron sino que volvieron a unir las camas. Impresentables. El hotel es viejo y descuidado. Ni por asomo es un 4 estrellas. El estacionamiento si vas con un auto mediano muy complicado de subir. Es muy probable que lo rayes. Mejor elijan otro

The lobby was beautiful, but the beauty ended there. The room was dated & had very noisy plumbing. Our air-conditioner didn’t work hardly at all, and none of the staff spoke English so we couldn’t exactly communicate this concern nor did we feel that they cared. We spent two nights roasting. I hate to sound harsh, but my Spanish is minimal, so don’t list “Staff Speaks English” on your site if no one can speak it. The elevators were so old we feared for our lives a few times while riding in them. The only good things to this hotel were mini fridge in room, decent breakfast, and good location. Other than that I wouldn’t stay there again.

Excellent place to stay! The hotel exceeded my expectations for that price. Wonderful breakfast! Loved it.

The fact the hotel extended check out time at no charge was unique. They accommodated our needs.

The hotel was within walking distance of many cafes and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful even with our limited Spanish. I would stay there again.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. You are provided basic, but good breakfast, Very limited English on TV. I would stay there again when in Buenos Aires.
