The perfect 1 night staycation
Pros:

This hotel is luxury wrapped in quiet elegance. It was everything I was looking for in my one night stay cation with my husband. Every single person we encountered from the concierge desk to the elevator attendant, to room service and doorman, we were met with a smile and just warmth. The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays and our suite surpassed all expectations. Room service was world class from Cipriani's. Special thanks to Stefan and Jacqui for their attentiveness and sincere warmth in helping us. Looking forward to the next stay cation with you!

Cons:

The only thing was that even with being up on the 20th floor, you still heard the 'noise' of NYC. Other than that, it was a perfect night.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Top auch das Restaurant Cipriani im Hause. Ich komme wieder.

Zimmer prima. Grösse gut für New York. Komfortables Bett. Lage des Hotels perfekt bei Central Park.
Verkehrsanbindung gut wenn man auf Taxis angewiesen ist.

Cons:

Vor der letzten Nacht bekam ich die Nachricht, dass ConEdison den Dampf für die Heizung des Hotels abstellt von
21.00 Uhr bis 07.00 Uhr.....das wurde schlussendlich 11.00 Uhr. Hotel kann nichts daran ändern....aber lästig war es.
Bekam ohne Probleme late check out bis 12.00 Uhr.
Was aber besser kann in einem solchen Fall.......nicht nur Entschuldigung des Hotels....sondern vielleicht eine Nette Geste wie.....wir kompensieren das mit 10% Ermässigung auf ihrer Zimmerrate oder Wiedergutmachung mit Flasche Wein. Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie würde man das erwarten.

Tramite Booking abbiamo però ricevuto una camera piccola e non rinnovata
Lo abbiamo fatto presente al front desk e ci hanno subito dato opportunità di cambiare camera alla stessa tariffa ma più grande e pulita

Non c’è una lobby vera e propria quindi o stai in camera o esci
Il bagno ha la doccia nella vasca e non è separata
nelle camere standard

We had a wonderful stay here. Very quiet. Clean and comfortable beds. Across the street from Central Park. Historic hotel. Currently is part hotel and part residence.

The staff was very helpful. When visiting Manhattan, it is very important that the hotel is quiet and clean.

Very Quiet, Clean and Comfortable
