Sometimes a bargain is not worth is.
Pros:

The check in process was 10 mins long. Way more than we experience at any other hotel.

Cons:

Check in, coffee service, ambiance of the common areas.
Awful snow cleanup!

Centrico para conocer y sentirse seguros
Pros:

I will never go back
Pros:

spacious. That’s it.

Cons:

They changed your selection of room without asking or apologizing their overbooking.
Breakfast included is a joke. Coffee was out and only cereal bars.
The room smells toxic which made me sick. The elevator smelled like poo.

I already wrote much too much.
Pros:

The greatest staff ever! Megan checked me in. She was kind, patient, and thorough.
Victoria the Gen Mgr nicely knocking on my door, reminding me that check-out is at 11:00am. I had tried to book another night prior to her knocking on my door, but awoke to my phone being dead. The night prior, I had plugged my phone into the bedside lamp USB-A port. I didn’t know that the switch on the lamp had to be set a certain way for one’s phone to charge. Of course this occurred when I didn’t have a power adapter, wall-charger while traveling!! First-world problems. I figured out where the lamp switch needs to be in order to charge my phone, I re-booked with booking.com, and all was good with Management. Thank you Miss Victoria and Miss Tina!
Johnathan the housekeeper is always exceptional. I appreciate that when he knocks, it’s quiet and gentle. He is trauma-informed, even though he might now know it. Waking up to BANG BANG BANG BANG “HOUSEKEEPING!! HOUSEKEEPING” nearly gives me a heart attack whether I’m awake or asleep. All housekeepers should be trained in being considerate of our traveling Veterans, domestic violence victims, babies, guests with sleeping difficulties that may have just fallen to sleep, the animals traveling with their owners, actually any guest. Mr. Max is the head of maintenance. I am forever grateful to him for bestowing wisdom and generosity when I’ve needed it most. A superb gentleman.

Cons:

Bathroom fan complaint #1: The bathroom light and fan are on the same switch. The fans at this hotel are (subjectively) ridiculously loud! If I’d want to take a bath I’d have to keep the bathroom door open in order to allow some of the main room’s light in. Again: first-world problems.

Bathroom fan complaint #2: One night, my neighbour had left their bathroom fan on ALL NIGHT. I really didn’t need that. Not much bothers me, but a consistent, loud, deep fan ALL NIGHT could push me to madness.

If one’s right to peace is disturbed by a neighboring hotel guest who has fallen asleep and accidentally left their loud TV on, an hotel staff can call and ask them to lower the volume. However, not so seems true if the offending loud noise is from a bathroom fan. I had never previously thought about this situation.

To be true in logic, all the “IF/THEN’s” must be valid.

IF during quiet hours a loud tv is disturbing the peace, THEN a hotel staff can call their room.
IF during quiet hours a loud fan is disturbing the peace, THEN a hotel staff can’t call their room.

In a hotel setting a consistent, disturbing, loud noise coming from another room during quiet hours should be delt with the same protocol.
This would be an excellent stipulation to add in the small print contract that a guest signs when checking in.
