Elevator and laundry out of order, no one at front desk to help, paper thin walls
Pros:

The room was clean and the location is close to both Newport and Providence if you're looking to sightsee.

Cons:

The front desk was almost always empty and it was near impossible to locate staff when we needed something. On our first day, we needed extra pillows in our room and laundry detergent. The front desk was empty for hours (we checked multiple times) and no one arrived until 7:30 PM. I don't blame the staff themselves as they did the best to help us with what they had and they are not responsible for scheduling decisions which I imagine are made by management.

The walls are paper thin. We had trouble falling asleep due to stomping and other noises made by the guests on the floor above us.

Our room had a kitchen and dining table but NO chairs to sit down and eat!

On top of everything, the hotel was undergoing repairs during our stay that no one warned us about. The elevator was out of order the first day and we had to drag a heavy suitcase up the stairs and no help or apologies for the noise we're offered. The laundry room was out of order as well.

Breakfast was abysmal; some processed muffins, granola bars, and drip coffee by the front desk. There wasn't even a sitting area.

For $347 for two nights, I expected better.

Pros:

The stay didn't happen. Hotel could not accommodate me, whether through overbooking or a hitherto unknown status of DNR, and booking couldn't get in contact with the front desk staff who turned me away allegedly so I had to wait several hours for resolution. Granted that could be something on the end of the third party. That said, the hotel is immaculate and previous stays there were impeccable.

Feeling like coming home every time
Pros:

I always stay with this motel because of the kitchen and the price, but this one in Maine by far is the best and the people that work here it almost feel like family, they all are respectful and kind from the manger to the front desk housekeeping and maintenance everyone’s wonderful every single one. No one’s paying me to write this I didn’t get any discounts. My things are in storage and I work in nursing in this motel has been a help to me where I don’t feel like I’m living out of my vehicle.
