Pros:

The location is great. Tons of historic charm. Staff are helpful and friendly. I didn't have breakfast. My preference is to find a local cafe, and there is a good selection in the area.

Cons:

There is no elevator. I was on the forth floor. Not a problem for me, but some might find it a bit difficult. I don't recall requesting a quieter room. Next time I might remember to do that. The hotel is on a quiet street, but one cafe seems to attract bikers. I had endure some engine roar in the evenings, which did seem to end around midnight. Otherwise very quiet.

Pros:

Location
Character of the hotel

Cons:

I was promised a tea and coffee tray when we first checked in.3 days later we were still waiting for it. The window in our bathroom was so so broken I could put my hand between the window sashes and wave to people outside. It might as well be have been open all the time. Given the location of the room at the front of Frith Street, it was extremely noisy. Still waiting for my refund of the upfront mini bar deposit they charge on arrival.

Good party location.
Pros:

If you want an original old English feel to a room this is a good place to get it. Staff is nice and rooms are clean. Location is great for food, drinks and night life. Great air conditioning.

Cons:

Rooms are old so small and not a lot of places to put any of your belongings. Street noise loud at night until at least 3AM. It’s not so much the crowds- but the motorcycles that continually circle the neighborhood. They are very loud and disturb any peace you can get.
