Shower cubicle was filthy - could scrape soap scum with fingernail. Filthy in gap between vanity and wall. Poorly designed with toilet roll holder situated behind the toilet.

Location makes up for a lot. Unfortunately it needs to.
Pros:

The location is perfect - close to Central Station and a short walk to Darling Quarter and anywhere in the CBD. Good coffee at Naked Duck ( just around the corner).
The staff are friendly and helpful.

Cons:

It's old and tired - the bathroom fittings all work but they are also falling apart. The shelf above the sink is very unfortunately placed - perfectly in the way.
The sound carries from the corridor. The WiFi is appalling and mostly just available by the room entry door.

Fantastic cheap accommodation which included everything I wanted!
Pros:

The staff very friendly and accommodating! Able to have late checkout. Used cash so got bond back- $100 straight away on checkout, rather than wait days to clear into bank. The pool is fantastic with deck chairs! Bath in room wonderful!

Breakfast hours not long enough.

Would not stay here again.
Pros:

The location was convenient to the train station and within walking distance to shops.

Cons:

The first day we arrived we had no TV, Wi-Fi and the safe didn’t have any battery. We were only there for 3 nights so wouldn’t have booked if we thought we would be without these things. The staff on our 2nd day gave us a Wi-Fi booster which helped but it was still not great as would go off and on. Our beds also kept rolling across the room-not ideal to sit up and read a book.

Pros:

Always love staying at this hotel; great location with parking across the road & tram stop near by.

Cons:

We had the buffet breakfast in the morning, I grabbed a glass of pineapple juice and it was rancid. I unfortunately had a sip of it and was too paranoid to have anything else.
