Ok but disappointing
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable and the location was great for attending the capitol theatre and surrounding food at chinatown and close proximity to train and light rail.

Cons:

The rooms were very small, not enough room for three people with their suitcases.
The pillows on the bed were old and flat and had ripped covers.
No view out the window, just a brick wall to look at.
The bathroom is also very small and needs renovation.
Had to sit sideways on the toilet as there is a wall in front and I'm not huge person. Shower head too short. Bottom of bathroom door damaged.
dusty and dirty under the desk.
Fridge wasn't working on arrival and then barely kept drinks cold. Would make someone sick if they needed to keep something perishable in there.
Wifi connected but always said "not connected" and didn't work.
What's the point of a smart tv if no internet connection to the tv (was told wifi not for tv)
And worst of all.....the foyer smelt strongly of sewerage for the whole three nights we stayed. So off putting!
I have stayed at this hotel once before. It has greatly gone downhill since then.
The price is reasonable for the location but not for the condition of the place.

Pros:

It was a convienient location, close to many things. The staff were vere accomodating when I asked for ice & glasses for the room.

Cons:

The room was run down, it needed a makeover, skirtingboards were coming away from the wall. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, this made the mirror foggy when having a hot shower. The shower head was too low when stepping in the bath. The lifts were very slow.

Average at best, unfortunately.
Pros:

The hotel is perfectly located near the theatre and very close to central station and the light rail.

Cons:

Stayed here previously 9 years ago and the facilities are in exactly the same condition as that stay. Beds and bedding are old and passed their used by date. Spending some money on comfort for guests would go a long way to making this well located hotel a much better property.

We had two rooms. The bathrooms were both in need of renovating. There was a sign saying rooms were being updated but unfortunately mine were not nice. Breakfast was quite basic but ok.

It was great value for money. I would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

The location is excellent. Very central with good access to transport hubs and surrounded by vibrant restaurants. The room and en-suite were basic but clean and comfortable with a nice, inner city view. They do not have a carpark but have an arrangement with a nearby carpark at a substantial discount. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. I thought the Metro Hotel Marlow represented very good value for money.
