Breakfast
Very good for what we wanted close to the theatre and easy access to everywhere
There was nothing I did not like
La ubicación
El WIFE era malo en las habitaciones, teníamos que estar en la puerta, cerca del pasillo para tener internet
Wonderful position. Also had a wonderful meal at the hotel opposite
Location
Proximity to Capital theatre to see musicals is awesome along with the availability of light rail. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful in allowing us an early 10am check in.
Worst was toilet paper holder being over shoulder and not able to use it unless it was removed and place on the floor. If you are a big person don't book rooms 512 or 517 you won't fit to use the toilet facilities. Room 512 you are hugging a wall and 517 you are squished between the shower tub and wall. Not so good was a blocked sink drain, and having dirty towels still in room although this can be overlooked due to early check in.
The only good thing about this property was it was located directly across from the caption theatre
It was dirty , mould in the room( curtains) ,in the shower ( on the curtain) wood rot on the cupboards in the bathroom as well in the cupboard with the fridge.
The power point behind the lamp didn’t work properly, kept charging and not charging phones .
The floor was not vaccumed , there was quite a few dust clumps and other things in the floor.
The vent/ circulation in the bathroom is terrible , there is a sign on the mirror that says to close the door as the steam will set off fire alarm, but results in everything in the bathroom being covered in condensation, also hair dryer that is provided is covered in dust ( in the vent) .
Mirror cupboard one side would not fully open , it opened about 5 cm and that was it, only able to use one side of the cupboard .
You can hear everything , every time the elevator goes up and down , as well as people talking and sirens and car horns outside .
You are paying the price for the location not the room.
On arrival staff were not friendly or welcoming at all
Was called next , told I had already paid and that they would need to take $100 deposit ( which wasn’t pre notified about ) and that it would just be pending in my account, that it wouldn’t come out but it had actually been taken out of my bank instantly.
Upon waiting outside for uber of a night time you cannot see the brick ledge/calf height wall out the
front, yes it has the black and yellow stripes you can see in daylight but it is extremely dirty that you cannot see it of a night time and in the rain. There is no lighting ,that I slipped on the tile and hit the brick wall and fell over and had people on the street help
me up. I did not feel comfortable going inside and asking staff for ice pack or first aid or even informing them what happened as they were not friendly / welcoming to begin with.
Upon checking out in the morning, the lady that was at the desk was lovely and said good morning but informed me the deposit would be refunded in 7-10 days.
Location
Old furniture
The bed was very comfortable I normally stay here due to being responsible priced
I bought myself biscuits to have with tea and I left the packet out and when I came back my bed was made nice and lovely I had my fresh towels which was amazing and someone ate my biscuits I was very upset that’s weird
Location
Aircon could have been better adjustable
Location was great and staff were friendly.
Rooms was small, bathroom old and looked dirty. There were stains on beds and a bandaid in bed.
Excellent locatiin right next to the theatre and the staff were great. Loved the soaps with the braille lids. Excellent touch.
The beds were not as comfy as I hoped and there was a beer bottle from previous occupents under the bed in one of our rooms. Facilities were a little old
