Fantastic stay at this newly refurbished hotel. Excellent location, great views over the river, easy to walk into city centre. Great to have parking onsite. Fabulous welcome from staff and they couldn’t have been more helpful especially Steph, Mekeeda and Mia

Super staff - Steph, Mia and Mekeeda - are very friendly and looked after me.

Asked how my stay was and asked if I needed anything.

Mekeeda told me she'd just started and I thought she was doing a cracker of a job.

Car park is very reasonably priced for a city centre.

I chose this hotel because it was the closest to the wedding venue I was attending, and am so glad I did.
I was greeted by Mia, who got me checked in quickly as I only had an hour to get to the venue, and from the off she made me feel welcome and more relaxed. I made the wedding on time, got back to the hotel slept like a log ... went for the Travel Lodge unlimited breakfast the next morning (which wasn't planned, but was awesome!) then stayed right up to check out time to make sure that the wedding alcohol was out of my system before driving...
The hotel grounds, the room and bathroom were immaculately clean, the food was awesome, and you can literally eat until you can't fit anymore in, but the standout for me was Mia ... She was there at my check in at 12pm on Friday, she was also there for another shift at 8am on Saturday (the girl is unstoppable) ... at all times, smiling, helpful and welcoming... we chatted a few times during my stay, and when it came time to leave, it felt more like saying farewell to someone I'd known for years, rather than someone just being paid to do their job! ... I would totally recommend this place on its own merits, but Mia really made this hotel stand out above the rest for me.

Was served by Steph and Mia at the bar for food and drinks. Absolute pleasure, very Polite and helpful both of them. Give em a pay rise lively 👏🏻

Booked for our overnight stay after attending a family party. Very happy with our stay. Big thanks to Steph and Mia for making our stay exceptional. We will definitely book here again for our next overnight stay in Manchester. Well done team

Absolutely immaculate and really comfortable stay. Had a mix up with the booking originally which was my fault but was immediately rectified by Steph.
Nice walk into the city and easy £10 cab back so highly recommended if needing an overnight stay for an event.

We had a lovely stay at the travelodge. We went to the bar and the staff were attentive and very helpful. Daniel and Hayden were so friendly and very quick to help customers, considering we arrived early in the morning. We had a good time in the bar and the room was exceptional, especially for the price.

I recently stayed at this Travelodge. It has a good location not far from the centre of Manchester. There is parking for a fee. I had a work event on Deansgate and I could walk there from this hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet. The soundproofing isn’t great, I could hear muffled voices from the next room for a short time but it wasn’t a problem. It is easy to get onto the motorway from this location as well.

Stayed here for a concert and wow what place! The staff are amazing the assistant manager Steph and the hotel manager Daniel went above and beyond for us as we've never been to the city before. The hotel was clean and tidy and with the refurbished bar you would not think its a travelodge. Just beautiful will stay again

Room was modern and clean and reception service was friendly. Dan, Chloe and Stef were very helpful. Shower head was slightly broken however and flush on toilet wasn't great.

Nice refurbished travelodge near to the centre of town. Steph was particularly nice, as well as all yer other colleagues.

Stayed for 2 nights at Central Riverside to see the match Man United against Aston Villa.
Location is great: near to the city centre and the stadium is at a 40 minute walk along the riverside. Sainsbury’s is nearby and if you want there is a KFC and McDonalds across the street.
We enjoyed our breakfast. Both English (plenty of choice) as well as continental.
The rooms were fine for our trip. Although the bathroom is quite basic.

The area is fine. We had a room at the riverside and slept well. There is plenty of activity but no disturbance

Great value for the price

Checked in today today to riverside travelodge today I never had more of a lovely welcome the staff absolutely lovely where I’m about I didn’t rearlise their was two building but Mia and carmen and Steph put me in right and have made my stay very enjoyable I definatly be staying again

Lovely time here. The girls in the bar were exceptional, Mia and Carmen. They by far made the stay more enjoyable.

I was served by Mia and Carmen, overly helpful and so polite. Asked them both for help around the local area and again very helpful.

I booked to stay here for 2 nights recently. However, we could only manage 1 night and had to book an alternative hotel.
When we arrived there was no sign of welcome staff and had to wait over 10 minutes to be acknowledged.
The room had a bad odor and when we locked the door the cleaner still entered the room which scared us.
The bath was dirty. The bathroom smelt like cat urine. Nosie all night and then got woken up early by loud knocking by the cleaner even though the do not disturb sign was on the door.
We also do not feel secure.
We then packed our belongings and left and had to book another hotel.
No offer of a full refund was given.
Would not recommend.

The room, bathroom, toilet not cleaned after 7 days of staying and even complaining to the staff. NO change of fresh towels and beddings. No trash was taken out in our 10 days of stay. No top up of shower gel and toilet papers yet we had the tag at the door everyday that said "top me up". We had to buy our own shower gel. The staff were arrogant and not cooperative.

This hotel is still undergoing refurbishment works on the bottom floor which is extremely evident with the strong smell of paint and general mess in the corridors. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with the sight of an unflushed toilet. The room, however, was clean but was sadly let down by stains on the curtains and holes in the quilt. The hotel is conveniently located for the deansgate area but is sadly let down by what I hope are initial teething issues whilst undergoing a rebrand.
