Ich habe mich im Novotel Karlsruhe City sehr wohl gefühlt und den wirklich guten Service der Mitarbeiter genossen.
Pros:

Die Mitarbeiter waren besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit, das erlebt man nicht so oft in diesem Maße. Frühstück war ein sehr schönes Buffet, Eierspeisen wurden direkt für einen zubereitet. Immer frische Äpfel an der Rezeption und eine kostenlose Grundausstattung in der Minibar. Parken direkt unter dem Hotel, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel mehr oder weniger vor dem Haus. Schöne moderne und funktionale Einrichtung.

Cons:

Im Zimmer war es eher warm, die Klimaanlage etwas zu laut, das Fenster nur sehr schmal zu öffnen.

Super Frühstücksbuffet, das beste/reichhaltigste was ich seit langem gesehen habe. Personal steht sofort parat, das ganze Buffet ist einfach top, unterschiedliche Art Eier zum bestellen, etc. etc.

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt in toller zentraler Lage
Pros:

Die Lage war optimal. Schloss, Einkaufcentrum etc. alles Fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstückbuffet lies keine Wünsche offen. Es war super, dass Kinder unter 16 Jahren nichts zahlen mussten. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Zimmer waren sauber und gepflegt. Der Inhalt der Minibar (4 Getränke und eine kl. Tüte Chips) und wurden jeden Tag neu gefüllt und war kostenlos.

Cons:

Die Kosten für das Parkhaus waren mit 20 Euro pro Tag schon recht hoch. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wie bei uns von 5 Tagen, fehlte ein Schrank für die Kleidung im Zimmer. Es gab lediglich 2 Schubladen, was für 3 Personen zu wenig war.
Das Zustellbett war unbequem, da die Stange in der Mitte drückte.

Durchwachsen
Pros:

Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich. Die Lage zur Schwarzwaldhalle ist perfekt.

Cons:

Leider war die Klimaanlage defekt und wir haben Anfang April extrem geschwitzt. Außerdem war die Minibar kaputt und musste erstmal gewechselt werden, da nicht gekühlt wurde. Die erste Zimmerkarte funktionierte auch nicht und musste neu programmiert werden. Dadurch habe ich mehrere Stunden mit Reparaturen verbracht was sehr ärgerlich war.
