The hotel is in a very nice location and the people working there are super friendly and nice. It is also pretty clean.
The AirCondition in the room is extremely loud and at the top floor (10) that I was it was not strong enough so even in full blast my room was about 25oC (so not nice and cool). The rooms do not have a mini fridge to keep your water or anything else cool. There is a coffee machine in the room but the coffee is not free and you have to buy it (this is an extremely cheap approach given the price of the rooms, and it will cost them barely nothing to provide this convenience for the guests).
Location was perfect! It’s central but not on the busy part of Central Merida. Our room was spacious and clean. We had the breakfast buffet twice and every thing was excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
The room was a little dated and smelled musky. Our room was close to a bar so you could hear the music until around 11pm. It really didn’t bother us but might not be ideal for some.
Mala experiencia.
La ubicacion
Las habitaciones bonitas y cómodas.
Algo pequeño el baño.
Beautiful modern entrance, excellent buffet for breakfast , the rooms could be updated a little. Unfortunately it was noisy where our room was but not all rooms heard the same.
Lo cerca que está todo, restaurantes, tiendas, teatros etcétera
Las camas son excelentes
Excellent location
Good beds, clean room
Friendly and helpful staff

Centrally located. Wonderful staff. Delicious breakfast Buffett.
A bit musty
I have stayed here three times. That should tell you something.
The parking is underneath the hotel. You hand your keys to the man at the entrance and he takes care of the rest. It is simple. It works. The staff outside are kind and hardworking. Have small bills ready. They earn them.
The lobby is beautiful. Open. Lively. The chairs are deep and comfortable. You can sit there with a lemonade—there is always lemonade—and watch the day pass. It feels easy.
Breakfast is generous and honest. If you are hungry, you will not leave hungry. The restaurant serves good food with strong Mexican roots. Yucatecan cuisine has pride of place here, as it should. The flavors are local and real.
The pool is pleasant. By two in the afternoon the walls begin to steal the sun, which can be a blessing in Mérida’s heat. The gym has weights and treadmills, mirrors to admire your heroic efforts, and always water with cups nearby. It does what it needs to do.
The rooms are not just rooms. They feel like small apartments. Charming. Spacious. Comfortable. It is a pleasure to return to them at night.
The hotel is very well located, close to the historic center. You can walk to almost everything that matters. The price is fair. More than fair. It remains a solid value.
Now the truth, because it matters.
Reception is not always at the level it should be. Sometimes the attitude suggests that you should feel honored to be there, instead of welcomed. A touch of humility would go a long way. Guests are not intruders. They are the reason the lights stay on.
There was also a painful moment. My wife lost a piece of jewelry with great sentimental value during one of our stays. She was deeply saddened. We returned the following year, knowing that hotel staff changes often and hoping it had been an unfortunate incident rather than something worse. Still, it is something management must take seriously.
This hotel deserves to be the best value in Mérida. It is close. Very close. With stronger leadership at reception and tighter attention to security, it could truly stand above the rest.
In short
• Excellent location
• Generous breakfast and strong regional cuisine
• Comfortable, apartment-style rooms
• Friendly and hardworking operational staff
• Good value for money
• Inconsistent front desk attitude
• One serious security concern
We have returned three times. That means we see its heart. With a little more discipline and humility at the top, it could be exceptional.
The perfect central location.
The rooms are a bit “tired’ and smelled strongly of disinfectant. I found the woman at the front desk to not be very mechanical and not a friendly face to greet guests. Your policy of no extra water bottle was disappointing.
The dining room staff was very friendly and efficient. Great a la carte breakfast.
Manuel, the bell hop was very friendly and most eager to please. The others were also very good.
I wonder why there isn’t a display in the lovely lobby of things to see and do in the city, or copies of Yucatán Today.
