Almond Tree Inn is the perfect place to stay in Key West! It is only steps away from Duval Street but feels like a tranquil retreat. The rooms are pristine and beautifully decorated. The Inn was a welcome respite after spending the day shopping, at the beach, visiting historical sites, or returning from a trip to the Dry Tortugas: welcoming us back from our excursions with a lovely dip in the pool and afternoon cocktails. We rented the bicycles the entire time. The bicycles were in spectacular shape with lights to get us back safely in the evenings and a basket for all our treasures. The most unforgettable part of our stay was the amazing staff; Callie and Dani were particularly warm, friendly and helpful! Definitely a five-star experience!

Our stay at almond tree was wonderful!!! Room was gorgeous, roomy and spotless. The common areas (pool and breakfast patio) were well maintained and charming. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Location is the perfect spot to start any excursion, shopping, water adventure, dining, or sight seeing. Would 100% recommend.

The location of Almond Tree Inn couldn't have been better. Right off Duval street and not in the craziness. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the happy hour beverage and snacks. The atmosphere within the property was very calm and quaint. The room was very clean, although the bottom of the door allowed air and dirt to get through keeping the humidity high, but with our short trip it was not too much of an issue. Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely return!

Almond Tree Inn was much more than we expected for our stay. The rooms were well pointed, clean, stylish, equipped with everything from a short stay or long, the location is right off Duval Street, an easy walk to everything. Since we had only one night there, we didn’t have time to enjoy the swimming pool or the happy hours, but breakfast was well prepared and staff were friendly.
The best part was the front desk staff Cary, he is a gem! Cary was super friendly, helpful and funny. Not only he remembered all of our names, room numbers, next morning, he greeted every guests by name. He made every guest feel special and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.

Eight lifelong girlfriends had a wonderful time celebrating turning 70 at the Almond Tree Inn! The breakfasts and happy hour food and drinks were exceptional. The staff was so helpful with suggestions and making arrangements for us. I can’t say enough about Cary! Only 22 rooms, it has an intimate feel and lots of amenities. It made a fun destination even better!

We had an amazing time at the Almond Tree Inn for our 40th birthday trip. No detail went unnoticed. The rooms were clean and decorated beautifully; we loved all of the little touches in the room that made us feel welcome and taken care of. The grounds were lush with beautiful greenery (which helped to make the Inn quiet and peaceful), and every employee was warm and welcoming. We especially loved the daily happy hour and complimentary breakfast in the mornings. We can't wait to visit again!

The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. The pool was great. The location is perfect.

When I think of Key West I think of retro old fashioned charm with a tropical feel. This fit perfectly. This was our 2nd time staying in Key West and I feel we've found out spot. Its on the quiet end of Duval but plenty of great food nearby. Plan to walk a lot. Staff here was so friendly. Even the cleaning staff told me how they appreciated meeting us before we left. Please tip them if you go! Happy hour each day was good as well as happy hour at the sister hotel across the street. The pool is so peaceful and tranquil. The room dark and cold for sleeping. Very well appointed.

Our third stay there and always a lovely time. We celebrated my hubby’s birthday and we were surprisingly upgraded to a suite which was lovely. From the breakfast, to the evening social, from the lovely pool and hot tub to the thoughtful amenities around the resort, this beautiful little gem never disappoints. It’s small, but measures up to any five start resort and has some of the best folks working there and everyone is genuinely happy to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Thank you all again for another wonderful stay!

Spent two nights here June 2026. Quiet. Well run. Friendly staff. Clean room. Nice pool. Good happy hour. I just hope I can come back one day!!!

Great location and very clean.

What a cracking little hotel. From the moment we arrived and the helpfulness of the staff, I knew this would be a good one. Room wasn’t huge but this is a former motel converted to a hotel, and it had everything we needed. Walking into the room, it was better appointed than many 5* hotels I’ve been in. Goodness knows how it’s only a 3*. Complimentary breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from. Happy hour with a free drink every night was great and most of the guests went to that which made it nice and lively. The staff though. Absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t have been any more helpful and so knowledgeable about the local area. Daniel was an absolute star. Right round the corner from Duval St, about halfway between the Marina and Southernmost Point, it’s in a great location. I’d come back in a heartbeat and would happily recommend this to friends visiting Key West.

We loved this small boutique hotel. It’s updated, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. The staff will go to any length to support your requests. They are all super friendly and accommodating. The pool is absolutely dreamy, with its tropical vibe and piped in tunes. Daily happy hour includes your first drink, and while the nibbles are probably straight from Costco, it was an inexpensive way to start the evening. Breakfast is fairly basic (breads, cereals, HB eggs, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juices) but got us up and out with full tummies.
