I just have to give a huge shoutout to Wendy, the bartender. She was the absolute highlight of my visit. From the second we sat down, she made us feel welcome, comfortable, and taken care of.
Wendy has that perfect mix of professionalism and personality — friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. She checked on us often without hovering, made sure our drinks were perfect, and even gave great recommendations. You can tell she takes pride in what she does and truly enjoys connecting with the guests.
In a place that can feel a little quiet during the off-season, she brought all the warmth and good energy. She’s the kind of person who turns a simple stop for a drink into a memorable experience.
If you’re visiting, definitely make your way to the bar and look for Wendy — she’s the best!
Overall, the personnel were excellent. But unit 1030 needs some tlc and a good cleaning. There were a lot of areas that were far from clean, it was probably cleaner after we left. The bath room door was damaged on the inside, there was rust on a wall plate, the shower leaked and water came up through the hall floor, we reported this and it was repaired. But the room did have an excellent view and was comfortable.
Parking garage was tight. Didn't care for pets being there. They didn't inforce their rules about the size of dog's and breeds. Or smoking on grounds
Ocean front was fabulous. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We didnt use the pool but the area was neat and tidy.
Had a decent view of he Ocean. Building appears to need some TLC. Multiple Hurricane Balcony Windows/Doors have loose insulation hanging from several Units on 8th through 10th floors, had to clean bottom of feet before putting on shoes; Floor was swept but hasn't been mopped. Pool Bar had beach towel on awning entire week but the slipper beside it was blown off by the wind. Multiple units had visitors smoking something other than cigarettes (did not feel it would safe to drive from contact smoke). The Place had a different feel about it from a stay in February of 2022. Not a good change.
Book at your own risk. The reviews are fixed. This hotel was/is being sued for bedbugs, allegedly. Look it up. Our room smelled musty. When you walk in the room, you will be greeted with a roach repel device is plugged into the wall. The pictures on the site are lies, maybe a few rooms are updated but i granratee you will get an outdated room and you will be second guessing staying in the room when you walk in. Also, when you see maintenance walking around alot in the building you know the building is crappy. The toilet was loose and wobbly. Our a/c was broken. Only cooling to maybe 74. The female bar tender was great. Also, the parking garage is horrible!!! Talk about tight spaces. Hopefully no one hits yours rental. Maybe park on the top floor. Other guest complained the neighbors were loud and the heard bamging on the walks and the upstairs neighbors were loud. Omg. I will never ever stay there again. I am happy to be home.

Well this this the 4 years. We away stay 12th floors or above. But this time we went to 17teen lv it. Bar great and ocean view great pool everything was great I b back again and again.
I recently stayed at The Patricia Grand in Myrtle Beach, and overall I had a really nice time. The best part was definitely the location, it’s right on the beach, so I could just walk out and enjoy the ocean whenever I wanted. The balcony view from my room was beautiful, especially in the morning.
Wendy was a great bartender.She had amazing customer service and very attentive. She made sure we enjoyed out stay and drinks. She made our vacation more enjoyable.
Just an older hotel but it was clean, well maintained and the staff was friendly.
There is no ADA compliant parking on property, the parking deck has multiple handicapped parking spaces filled with no handicap plate or placard which is required not only by law but the federal ADA. The property management parks in the loading and unloading parking and could care less about the abuse of the handicapped parking. The particular service desk employee on September 5th 2024 at 10pm at night said it’s against HOA to park in the spaces in front. I documented the cars that parked all night in the loading and unloading zones and will be following up with OSHA, and ADA compliance. The claimed HOA is not immune from federal law.

We always enjoy staying at the Patricia Grand hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, in the summer they have a DJ at the pool, it's a great view of the ocean and most important to us they are pet friendly. I would recommend staying here to anyone
Everyone was so friendly and kind
We loved being here especially since we have 2 kids and they loved the pools, hot tubs, lazy river and that it was so close to the beach. However, our room was in kinda bad shape. The ceiling had spots that were coming off, there was a hole in the wall in the bedroom, and the floor in the bathroom had a spot where the flooring was ripped. We also had a lot of gnats or fruit flys everywhere in the room and the closet door beside the bathroom was like halfway coming off the track. Besides the room we stayed in we love this place!
Entry system using number code is too sensitive. Multiple tries are required. When successful, a push with full body is required to get the door open. Was told that the use of card keys were replaced due to freezing in the winter months. Curious how many days this actually occurred at Myrtle Beach.
Its was ok.i had ask for oceanfront, and we received a side ocean view. Room didnt smell good. We wasnt pleased at all.
