Monterey Bay Suites

Room was in severe need of being updated. Same furniture as when i stayed there 10 years ago. Bathroom door would not shut or open properly. When you did get it shut you had to pull extra hard 5 times and it would finally budge. Bathtub would not drain so you stood in dirty shower water. Balcony had cheap plastic furniture that was dirty. The carpet on balcony was dirty and ripped. When you were ready to get cleaned up for the day you had to find a housekeeping person because it was always after 2:00 before fresh towels were delivered to your room. The breakfast was good, but I am not a picky eater. The staff was very pleasant and always ready to help, but the reason i will not stay there again is they need to update the rooms and fix the building so stuff works properly.

Staff were super nice at checkin, so nothing against the staff, but this place was GROSS
Pictures are very misleading. Dirty floors, clogged bathroom sink, fingerprints all over the walls and doors, tiny congested difficult parking garage, smelly musty couch and sheets, dirty cups in the cupboard…..the list goes on and on. Thankfully we were only staying one night until our regular week-long rental was ready. This place needs DEEP cleaned

Really enjoyed the amenities at the hotel!

Hotel pool has loud music and does not turn off lights, we did not receive the correct number of beds. The Murphy bed was locked and they were unable to open it and said we had a sofa bed. I sent pictures of the loveseat that was not even a couch and it was not a sofa bed, they did nothing. The outlets for the ac are bad and you'll have to constantly reset it when you notice it's off. Sometimes the power would not turn back on. I told them, nothing was done

Not the cleanest and very misleading on advertised amenities. I specifically booked an accessible hotel where I’m in a wheelchair. Room was advertised to have roll in shower and wheelchair width doorways and had neither in regards to bathroom had to transfer to multiple chairs to access bathroom and shower. Worst stay in 25 years of visiting Myrtle staff didn’t help when notified of the issue.

Property is nice & as I understand it's an older building, but some updates are needed!! Rooms were clean & free of bugs. I do think the floors could use a little more attention when being cleaned. Staff was nice & the pools were great!! Breakfast was great as well, saved us from going out every morning. We enjoyed our stay & will stay again.

Friendly staff. Nice location. Beautiful beach. Great view. Be sure to get a full waterfront room. Delicious breakfast

The room i had been updated and i really enjoyed my stay. It was clean and well maintained.

The hotel is old and needs renovations and better cleaning of the rooms
The parking is very complicated with narrow turns!! Hated it

Couldn't enjoy the ocean front balcony because of other people smoking marijuana. The room needs to be updated

We did not get our room cleaned the whole time we were there. They said that we had to request it, so then we did and still never got the room cleaned. We got new towels and they took out trash after us hounding them about it. Room smelled like musty/ mold. Not too great.
