Hampton Inn Niceville-Elgin Air Force Base

Nothing! It was awful…total disarray, it looked like a horror hotel, inside and out! Renovating interior and exterior and should have closed for renovations.

Nothing. It was under construction. It was a mess

Inside was nice, the staff were very friendly but the hotel was under construction for renovation so the building when we arrived was upsetting. Expedia didn't tell us this prior to booking and if there were other hotels available we would have changed.

Property is under renovation. Very little parking due to shipping containers taking up parking spaces. Front desk did not tell me where the elevators were. No signage due to reno. No lights at the end of the hall by the elevator due to reno. No room numbers in hallway approaching my room due to reno. My room was the first guest room with a number next to the reno. Construction dust all over the carpet due to the reno... Even the front desk was constructed out of ply wood due to the reno. And I'm sure the room rate wasn't discounted due to the reno. Room was fine.

Booked via Hilton app. Hotel under major renovation. Exterior walls missing and covered by plywood. Trailers and construction debris occupies parking. Interior rugs full of paint & plaster. App or confirmation email don't warn of reno.

the personnel was attentive and very helpful accommodation us in similar room and property due to their construction activity. very please with their service .

The hotel still remodeled

The whole place was under construction and looked like it was about to be knocked down. I had to walk through the halls with construction all in them

Beware! The hotel website states it is undergoing renovation. The hotel looks abandoned and demolished from the outside. Pulling in I was fearful as there were two cars in the lot. Everything is under construction and for what the cost was per night, I could have stayed at the brand new hotel next door. This rate should have been half the price. The room was okay and comfortable and renovated, even though the bathroom looked a little older than the bedroom. When the hotel is finished I am sure it will look nice but for now, choose a different option. Also, the hotel is about 15-20 mins from the airport.

Room n food met expectations

We actually stayed at the sister hotel, Tru, because the Hampton inn is being renovated. It's in a convenient location with close access to many activities. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Was unaware Hotel was under a remodel until we arrived. Exterior walls were removed and covered in plywood and plastic. Interior hallways had paper on parts of the floors. Exposed carpet was covered in drywall dust and mud. Hallways were very dirty. Room was on the third floor and both third and second floor ice makers were broken. If would have know about theses conditions up front I would have stayed somewhere else.

It would have been nice to know the hotel was under renovation. The first room did not have air. The second room had dead bugs in it. We made the best out of the situation,

I did not stay at this property as apparently it was under renovation in the property called me after I landed, and they offered to put me up in the Hilton Blu next-door, which is what I did that’s why I was unable to give a rating on this property specifically

Breakfast was ok. Had better at other hotels

The hotel when we checked in had major renovations of lobby going on , we were never notified. Hotel offered for us to stay at their hotel next door called Tru. We stayed there , rooms very basic. The issue is the hotel never cleaned room , supplied towels or room supplied like toilet paper even though i reported it to the hotel the first day when room wasnt cleaned. I called hotel to report this twice to hotel manager snd they said they would call back and never received call back.
