It had a lazy river my grandson enjoyed.
The place needs to be updated.
There were roaches in the room. The man that works there was rude to the kids. The hot tub was broken the last day.
The area
Nice staff close to everything and bears in the parking lot
The jacuzzi room with fireplace and balcony, very beautiful view.
It kind of had a old smell , like water soaked in carpet and stayed wet to long
It was in walking distance to shops, staff was really nice.
Very strong smell of chlorine from the pool.
I like the whole experience it was a great stay, and I would definitely do it again
How close to down town having a pool and breakfast
The people at the front desk seem like they didn’t want to be bothered and they made comments out guys not knowing we could hear them
My husband took me over to Gatlinburg for Mother’s Day weekend, as Mother’s Day is very hard for me. We almost exclusively stay at Choice hotels and usually Sleep Inn is pretty decent. Not here. First, it’s pretty run down. It needs a LOT of TLC. Second, it’s dirty in a lot of areas. We stayed in two different rooms (I will explain shortly). In the first room, there was a chunk of dark hair in our tub when we checked in. The shower curtain was stained, as was one of the towels. The towel smelled like bleach so I’m pretty sure it was clean, just stained. The room itself was clean. The 32” tv seemed kind of old, and the mini fridge didn’t have a freezer section. We had a little terrace in this room (main floor, which is actually the second floor) and outside of the terrace, the landscaping was full of trash. In the second room, it was much better, much cleaner, but it still had a towel with a stain on it, sheers on the window with holes in them and rust around the drain in the tub. The breakfast area was filthy. The counters had spilled waffle mix and trash all over it. The hood that came down over the eggs and sausage was broken. The tables weren’t being wiped down, the trash was overflowing. The breakfast attendant was rude to anyone who spoke to her, and spent most of her time talking to the front desk clerk instead of cleaning up. She also the last day we were there, scratched her head and then continued handling cups that she was restocking. Every table was dirty. As for why we stayed in two rooms—- there was a large group of teenagers there from a basketball tournament. Instead of putting them all together and then putting other guests on different floors, we got stuck right in the middle of them. They were loud at all hours (and there’s no way the clerk down the hall didn’t hear them), yelling and slamming doors, bouncing basketballs, and even bothering the door between our rooms (the one that makes them adjoining rooms). We asked the man at the front desk if we could move floors and he was able to accommodate us, sending us to the 4th floor. It was much quieter, however around 11:30, some of the boys made their way up there and were running down the hall and slamming doors. One of the mothers/chaperones was on that floor when she should have been put down with the kids on the floor they were on. We called the front desk because we were trying to sleep, but either nothing was done, or they were caught only to do it again about an hour later. I don’t know if the chaperones were ever spoken to, but these kids were obnoxious and rude the entire time. It sure seemed like nothing at all was done. This hotel is noisy. Walls seem thin and between the ceilings/floors do as well. Doors slam. Terrible. The pool and lazy river were pretty decent and we did enjoy a little time in there. The whole place just doesn’t seem like anyone cares. They can’t even keep their sign neat. Noisy, dirty, run down, apathetic staff. We won’t stay here again. We come to Gatlinburg every couple of months but we are marking this off. Also, if you’re looking for walking distance to the strip, unless you’re fairly fit, this isn’t it, just in case you’re wondering.
It was a really good place to stay close to town able to walk ifl you have the energy
There wasn’t anything that I did not like about the property. Everything was clean. Beds was wonderful. Made my stay very nice.
Property was a little further away from strip than I had hoped. Room was plenty spacious. Enjoyed having a balcony with chairs. Lazy river, hot tub and working pool were nice additions.
Breakfast was just pedestrian. Shower made a horrible roar in use. Patch in ceiling was obvious. Art work over sofa appeared to be missing one unit-looked unbalanced!
Room was spacious. Bed was so comfortable!! Balcony was so convenient.
Could clean better. There was finger prints from another person on the phone(like they touched a greasy burger and grabbed the phone 🤢). The tub in the room was cracked, duct taped and dirty. The chair and couch in the room are out dated and stained.
