Hotel was very centrally located. Rooms were spacious
In one of our rooms, the a/c was useless. Given the very warm weather, this made for uncomfortable nights for two of our party. Car parking at the recommended car park was extremely expensive, compared to the Ibis that we stayed in in Rouen. Two nights there cost just €16. Three nights in Rennes cost over €90. The summary for the hotelindicated that there was a restaurant. Instead, there were some dishes available for room service.

Pas de parking, rien pour poser la valise
The hotel is steps from the train station and a 5 to 30 minute walk from nearly everything in town we wanted to see - at a price that was very competitive with the rest of the area. The room was spacious and comfortable. We also picked it because we generally have a good experience with the IBIS hotel chain, clean rooms, amenities, price, and professionalism.
Parking on site was super expensive, 60+ euros for two days. Although we originally selected the hotel for its proximity to the train station, we rented a car and drove because the cost of round trip train tickets in early August for four people was so astronomical it didn't make sense for a 3.5 hour drive from Paris for a two day stay.
