Very inconvenient and stressful
Pros:

The property met our needs for a one night stay
Our group of 5 (2 rooms) stay at this property prior to leaving for a cruise the following day. We have never had a problem of any kind here before but we had an issue with this room that made our stay a nightmare

Cons:

The handle in the tub/shower was broken and just hanging loose so that the water could not be turned on. We reported this to the staff who couldn’t have been nicer and a repair man was there within 15 minutes He fixed the problem however when he left I immediately went to take a shower and the piece immediately broke again. I reported and again the repair man fixed it. I immediately took a shower and when I tried to turn the water off it got stuck on the hottest level possible and could not be turned off
Waiting yet again for the repair man our room was full of steam and became hot and very uncomfortable
Finally it was repaired enough to allow all 3 of us to shower. We are a group of 3 ladies ranging in age from 73-77 who were just looking for a relaxing vacation and cruise. We found this issue to be extremely stressful and forced us to start the vacation with stress and anxiety. We feel that we should be compensated in some way for this inconvenience and if not will certainly find another location when we need a place to stay in Galveston

Pros:

I've been trying to get in contact with the general manager I have not received a response back I used a third party for the booking and they have not received a response either. This has been ongoing since Oct 31st.

Location was great and close to carnival port.
Pros:

Location and Mexican restaurant next door.

Cons:

We had problem with door handle making buzzing noises. Someone came up to fix the problem. We left and returned had the same problem with the door. Ask to be moved.
