Had to move room as shower didn't work. Whilst reception very helpful and friendly, room was without balcony and bath didn't work. But didn't detract from stay really, just an unfortunate incident

Comfortable and affordable for a short weekend stay.
Pros:

Close to where we needed to be in that part of Melbourne for a quick weekend trip.

Had good blockout blinds and comfortable bed in the room we stayed in. Spacious room.

Plenty of food options within a 15-min walk.

Cons:

Not very sound-proof. We could hear doors being shut and people talking outside.

Room was clean and tidy but pool in need of cleaning
Pros:

The room was a good size and seemed quite modern and comfortable

Cons:

The TV remote wasn't working and several other guests also made the same comment. My room had a pool view - but the pool was green and had ducks swimming in it - not a good look. There was also a used teaspoon left in the room.

It was a very nice hotel and apart from the crazy way of getting into the driveway it was a good place to stay

Cons:

The driveway and getting into it. Very dangerous when you have a bike lane next to the driveway. If you’re not used to that you can easily have an accident. Need a better sign

Everything about this place shows they have not spent any money on maintenence and upkeep.
Pros:

Only the location. Everything else about this place was terrible for the price. Do not understand how it could be rated 4 stars! Rattling doors, holes in walls and no water pressure (or hot water!).

Cons:

Absolutely terrible bathrooms -no water pressure or hot water in the first room and then when we changed rooms -no water pressure at all and shower leaking all over bathroom! Beds terrible and pillows flat and obviously the cheapest available. Pool disgusting -looked like it had not been cleaned in years. Staff very slow at check in and unworried about the poor facilities.

Pros:

Location to the zoo where I had a conference. TV and heater worked. Shower was hot.

Cons:

Expected a 4 star hotel, it was more like a 2 star motel. Room was dirty. Bed head was broken. Queen bed dipped and destroyed my back. Walls paper thin. Shower pressure low. Pool was a green sludge with duck poo everywhere.
At $160/night, an absolute rip off.
