EXCELLENT EMPLACEMENT DANS LE VIEUX QUEBEC .CHAMBRE GRAND CONFORT , BIEN ÉQUIPÉE , SALLE DE BAIN MODERNE,PROPRETÉ SANS DEFAUT

The room wasn't large, but it was very clean, and the bathroom was good. The location is excellent—facing a beautiful square, very close to the city's historic area, and with many restaurants within walking distance. It is also quite close to the train station.
The reception staff is very attentive and helpful with any information you might need.

The location was ideal. The hotel room was very nice and it was apparent that the staff worked around the clock to ensure great hospitality was delivered.

Location excellent. Between upper and lower old town. Close to plains of Abraham for festival. Lots of close restaurants.

Excellent stay! Beautifully kept boutique hotel..staff were exceptionally pleasant and most accommodating..location is very central..wonderful stay!

On leaving, I had a pre-ordered, prepaid taxi through Trailfinders. Unknown to me, the hotel also ordered a taxi in my name. On arrival at Quebec airport, I was confronted by airport security & denied boarding my plane until I paid for this 2nd, unwanted taxi. The hotel continued to insist, despite the evidence to the contrary, that I had asked them to order me a taxi & then actually accused me of lying when I refuted this claim. This accusation was repeated loudly & at length by security in the public airport foyer. I am 78 years old, was travelling alone & was left frightened & shaken by the episode: no hotel guest should ever be subjected to such treatment. Hotel Clarendon has never since contacted me to apologise for their mistake or refund the unwanted fare. All credit to Trailfinders who immediately & sympathetically supported me.

This may be my new favourite. I loved its historical significance (oldest continuously functional hotel in Canada established in 1870). It looks and feels like a luxurious European Boutique hotel, but with a friendly Québécois vibe. It’s located in the heart of Old Quebec just steps from Notre Dame, great restaurants, outdoors patios, and a three-minute walk to the Fairmont and a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence. The staff is lovely, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and it was so quiet. I loved it.

Great location. It is right beside a fountain installation that lights up at night. It functions as a giant splash pad.

Chambre confortable sans plus. Salle de bain petite. Le prix est élevé pour cette petite chambre. Et il n'y avait rien dans le petit frigo. Même pas une bouteille d'eau.

Stayed 3 nights. Hotel itself is very central to everything. Our room 430 was large and very comfortable. Unfortunately there is no tea bags only Earl Grey. I actually prefer black tea with milk but the hotel had none and no green tea for my partner. However you could buy a cup of tea in the resturant. So very disappointed that they couldn't give us a couple of tea bags from the restaurant for the room.

Everything was to expectations

The hotel is perfectly located in Quebec City Old town, and a convenient walk to near enough any location in that vicinity… which if you’re considering staying there, then you want to be amongst that zone.

The hotel is a delightful art deco style character when pulling up outside, and whilst there’s no parking… the valet team were quick to assist and on hand.

Checking in Xavier was incredible, giving us helpful tips and assisting with Quebec City/the hotel in general.

I would most certainly stay here again!
