There was good parking, the staff on reception were really nice. The hotel was located in a bit of an industrial area - the areas was quiet so I could sleep with windows open (always like fresh air). The room was practical and clean. Was able to watch the England game in the bar which was friendly. Shame we lost!
The only comment I would make is about the mattress - a bit old, thin and soft. Could do with updating. Everything else great.
Breakfast and staff
Wi-if was poor
Great hotel for our needs. Jumped on the train one stop to halifax for a concert.
Spacious bright rooms. Quiet location.
Excellent friendly staff and top quality breakfast 👌
Location to work freindly staff.
Cold at night, pillows too soft
Clean, we'll presented. Good quality food at reasonable price. Very friendly helpful staff.
Great breakfast.
Always go back there, staff great they had a new menu and the food was excellant.
It was a home away from home look that I liked about it
Nothing to dislike
Could have done with a fan in the room.
The staff are amazing 👏 🤩 especially Simon. Simon would go out of his way to help you in any way you needed
There were no grab rails above the bath making it very difficult for me to get in and out of the shower, the shower head kept sliding down and drooping over the bath sending the water everywhere but where was needed
Better fans in hot weather
All was good
The hotel was ideal being close for the rugby league and also close for the train station.Lovely and comfortable and excellent staff.
Just one small point was the size of the bed. As I’m over 6ft tall I found the bed a bit on the small size which made it a bit uncomfortable for my self .
Excellent staff, great location, brilliant service and tasty cooked breakfast.
The room was hot, but the stay was during the heatwave.
